Tablets and smartphones distributed to over 1,000 youth in Muzaffarnagar

Lucknow : Muzaffarnagar, once a district marred by curfews under previous governments, is now witnessing a wave of prosperity under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. On Thursday, CM Yogi spearheaded a series of initiatives aimed at fostering self-reliance among the youth, supporting local industries, and enhancing the district’s overall well-being.

In a single day, over 5,000 youths were handed appointment letters as part of a district-level mega rozgaar mela, which saw participation from more than 50 reputed companies. This marks a significant step towards addressing unemployment in the region.

CM Yogi also distributed loans worth over Rs 30 crore to selected beneficiaries and MSME entrepreneurs, empowering them to expand their businesses and contribute to the local economy. In a move to further support the younger generation, the Chief Minister provided tablets and smartphones to over 1,000 youths under the Swami Vivekananda Yuva Sashaktikaran Yojana, equipping them with the tools needed for modern education and skill development.

Additionally, CM Yogi took the opportunity to motivate officials and workers of the BJP-RLD alliance, offering strategic guidance aimed at securing a win for the Meerapur seat in Muzaffarnagar. His efforts reflect a comprehensive approach to transforming Muzaffarnagar through education, security, and health facilities, ensuring the district’s long-term growth and stability.

The Chief Minister also continues to strengthen Uttar Pradesh’s healthcare infrastructure under the vision of “Ayushman Uttar Pradesh.” Over the past seven years, he has allocated over Rs 7 billion, 1 crore and 27 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Discretionary Fund, providing essential financial support to those suffering from serious illnesses. Notably, over Rs 6 crore, 40 lakh, 34 thousand has been directed specifically to help the people of Muzaffarnagar.

In the political arena, the Meerapur assembly seat remains a critical focus for the BJP alliance. During the 2022 assembly elections, Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) candidate Chandan Chauhan won the Meerapur seat, securing 49.57% of the votes, while BJP candidate Prashant Chaudhary garnered 36.94%. This result highlighted the seat’s strategic importance, which had previously been won by BJP’s Avtar Singh Bhadana in 2017.

As preparations intensify for the upcoming elections, CM Yogi visited Muzaffarnagar on Thursday to strategize with party workers and officials. Recognizing the significance of the Meerapur seat, the Bharatiya Janata Party has entrusted state president Chaudhary Bhupendra Singh with organizational leadership, while Cabinet Minister Anil Kumar, Minister of State Somendra Tomar, and KP Malik have been given the governmental responsibility to secure a victory.

During his visit, CM Yogi engaged directly with party workers, offering them guidance and motivation to ensure success in the upcoming elections.
