Simhastha-2028 will be Unique Confluence of Faith, Spirituality and Nature : CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that Simhastha-2028 will be a unique confluence of faith, spirituality and nature. He informed that the Silarakhedi–Sevarkhedi project is underway to ensure that the main ‘Shahi Snan’ and other rituals during Simhastha are conducted using the holy water of the Kshipra. He emphasised that in the present era, social media plays a crucial role as a powerful medium for promoting good governance and guiding society in a positive direction.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav addressed a workshop organised in Ujjain by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Department for social media influencers to provide updates on preparations for Simhastha-2028.

During the workshop, Collector Shri Roshan Kumar Singh presented details of key development works, including the Kanha Close Duct project, the Sevarkhedi–Silarakhedi project, widening of internal city roads, sewerage works, development of the fair area and strengthening of connectivity through 6-lane and 4-lane roads, railway lines, and airport infrastructure.

Superintendent of Police Shri Pradeep Sharma briefed participants on crowd management strategies, security arrangements and the use of AI technology for managing crowds, providing information to pilgrims, and parking management. He also emphasised the importance of verifying sensitive information before posting on social media and urged responsible use of digital platforms.
