All-Party Meeting on LPG, Petroleum and Fertilizer Supply

Jaipur, March 2026: Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma chaired an all-party meeting at the Chief Minister’s Office on Thursday regarding the supply of crude oil, gas, and fertilizers amid the situation in the Middle East Asia region. During the meeting, he discussed the management of oil and gas in the state with representatives of all parties and called for collective responsibility in working together.

Shri Sharma assured all parties and the people of the state that petrol, diesel, gas, and fertilizers are adequately available in Rajasthan and there is no need for any panic. The state government has strengthened, made active, and made effective arrangements through vigilance.

Rajasthan Foundation Supports Migrant Rajasthanis
Shri Sharma also conducted a video conference with 26 chapters of Rajasthan Foundation and 60 migrant Rajasthani associations, both domestic and international, along with migrant Rajasthani coordinators. He said that recently, chapters in Riyadh, Kuwait, Bahrain, Dubai, and other countries have helped provide safe housing, food, and repatriation for migrant Rajasthanis. He emphasized that under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s leadership, the state government and Rajasthan Foundation remain ready to provide every possible support to migrant Rajasthanis in Middle East Asia.

State and District Teams Monitor Oil and Gas Effectively
Shri Sharma said he has been holding regular meetings with district collectors, officers, and distribution personnel to ensure smooth supply of oil, gas, and other essential commodities. Continuous review meetings are also conducted at Food Minister and Chief Secretary levels. For effective monitoring and vigilance, a high-level committee has been formed at the state level, and district-level teams including collectors, SPs, DSO, and nodal officers of oil companies are active. Helpline numbers 181, 112, and 14435 operate 24/7 for prompt problem resolution.

Promotion of Safe PNG Network
The Chief Minister directed city gas distribution companies to accelerate domestic piped natural gas connections. Commercial units such as hospitals, hotels, and restaurants are being encouraged to adopt natural gas. Farmers’ needs for urea and DAP are coordinated between the central and state governments. Citizens are also urged to assist the administration in preventing illegal LPG storage and black marketing.

Food and Civil Supplies Minister Shri Sumit Godara said OTP is now mandatory for domestic LPG delivery, and delivery boys must record transactions in customers’ passbooks.

All Parties Fully Support State Government
Political party leaders expressed complete support for the state government and appreciated the efforts of central and state governments in gas and oil management. Suggestions included regular district-level monitoring, rapid expansion of PNG networks, and contingency planning.

Leaders present included Leader of Opposition Shri Tikaram Jooli, BJP MLA Shri Srichand Kriplani, Congress MLAs Shri Rajendra Parik and Shri Ramkesh, BSP MLA Shri Manoj Kumar, RLD MLA Dr. Subhash Garg, Independent MLA Shri Ashok Kumar Kothari, Chief Secretary Shri V Srinivas, and other officials. Parliamentary Minister Shri Jogaram Patel, Government Chief Secretary Shri Jogeshwar Garg, and Bharat Adivasi Party MLA Shri Thawar Chand joined via VC.

Appreciation for State Government and Rajasthan Foundation
Shri Sharma noted that the expansion of Rajasthan Foundation chapters and celebration of Migrant Rajasthani Day has successfully connected migrants to their homeland. Currently, 26 chapters are active, with 14 new chapters in formation. Chapters in New York, London, Singapore, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Guwahati have started women’s wings. During the VC, chapters from Dubai, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and other countries shared details of support provided to migrant Rajasthanis. All chapters thanked the Chief Minister for the assistance from the state government and Rajasthan Foundation.

Officials from the Chief Minister’s Office, Industry & Commerce, and Rajasthan Foundation were present.
