Families of Deceased to Receive ₹4 Lakh Each under Sambal Yojana : Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav met the families of citizens who lost their lives in the road accident that occurred in Chhindwara district on Thursday and offered his condolences. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the accident was deeply painful and assured that the Government of Madhya Pradesh stands with the affected families in this difficult time.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that ₹4 lakh each had already been sanctioned as financial assistance to the families of those who lost their lives in the accident. In addition, the affected families will also receive ₹4 lakh each under the Sambal Yojana. He added that the injured persons are being provided with all necessary assistance along with free medical treatment. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav further announced that each injured person will be given financial assistance of ₹1 lakh.

Chief Minister Visits Three Villages, Meets Affected Families

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav visited Village Karer in Mohkhed Tehsil of Chhindwara district and met Smt. Siya, wife of Shri Krishna Inwati; Shri Ramdas, son of Shri Suklu Parane; Shri Daulat Pawar; Smt. Bhagwati, wife of Shri Dan Singh; and Smt. Shakun, wife of Shri Lakhichandra Yadav, at their residence.

After meeting the affected families in Village Karer, the Chief Minister also visited Village Gwara and Village Jhiria, where he interacted with the family members of the victims and expressed his condolences. During the interaction, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav assured them that the Madhya Pradesh government stands firmly with them in this hour of grief and that every possible assistance will be provided.

Chief Minister Meets Injured at District Hospital

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also visited the District Hospital in Chhindwara and met the injured persons undergoing treatment following the accident. He inquired about their health and directed doctors to ensure proper medical treatment for all the injured. The Chief Minister reviewed the treatment provided so far and instructed officials to arrange for referral to Nagpur or other advanced medical institutions, if required. He emphasised that the state government is committed to providing free treatment to the injured, and full support will be extended even if they need to be referred to hospitals outside the district.

Police Personnel Who Assisted the Injured to be Rewarded

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav appreciated the efforts of the Chhindwara district administration, local citizens, and police personnel who managed the situation efficiently after the accident. He announced that the police personnel who helped the injured with sensitivity and promptness will be rewarded.

The Chief Minister cancelled his pre-scheduled Ram Navami programmes in Chitrakoot, Satna district, and reached Chhindwara to personally meet the affected families.
