Discussion Held to Promote Usage of LushAI Healthy Lunglei App

Lunglei, April 2026: A meeting was held today at the Lunglei Deputy Commissioner’s Office to discuss ways to enhance public awareness and usage of the LushAI Healthy Lunglei (LHL) App, aimed at improving healthcare access for residents of the district.

The meeting was attended by officials from the Health & Family Welfare Department, Information & Public Relations (I&PR), and leaders of the Young Mizo Association (YMA) Sub-Headquarters, Lunglei. The meeting was chaired by Lunglei Deputy Commissioner Pi Navneet Mann.

The discussion focused on strategies to encourage wider adoption of the app under the Healthy Lunglei District Campaign. The app has been developed to enable residents to easily access healthcare services from their own locations, including booking appointments and ordering medicines online.

As part of the initiative, an extensive Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) campaign will be launched in May. A 40-day awareness drive has been planned, during which various YMA branches and colleges will organise health screening camps, awareness sessions, and training programmes related to health and the LHL app. At the end of the campaign, rewards will be given to individuals who actively download and use the app.

The LushAI Healthy Lunglei app offers several user-friendly features. Residents can check doctors’ availability at government hospitals and health centres across the district and book outpatient department (OPD) appointments in advance. The app also allows users to register for ABHA (Ayushman Bharat Health Account) and order medicines from registered pharmacies.

In addition, the platform provides easy access to important health-related information. An integrated AI chatbot is also included to assist users in booking OPD appointments and answering queries in the Mizo language, making the app more accessible to the local population.

The authorities emphasised that the app is a key step towards digitising healthcare services and ensuring better health outcomes for the people of Lunglei district.

The LHL app can be downloaded by Android users from the Google Play Store and by iOS users from the Apple App Store.
