CM Dr. Yadav Releases Book ‘74 Varsh Baad’ by Cricketer and Coach Amay Khurasiya

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav released the Hindi book ‘74 Varsh Baad’ authored by cricketer and Kerala coach Amay Khurasiya at Samatva Bhavan on Sunday, at the Chief Minister’s Residence. On this occasion, his daughter and co-author Amaysikeerti Khurasiya were also present. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav congratulated Amay Khurasiya and co-author AmaysiKirti Khurasiya. The book is also available in English.

The book explores the contemporary relevance of the teachings of Lord Shri Krishna in the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, particularly his guidance and strategic insights on warfare. Amay Khurasiya applied the principles of the Gita and the teachings of Lord Shri Krishna while devising strategies for the cricket team. As a result, the Kerala team reached the final of the Ranji Trophy for the first time in 74 years. Additionally, for the first time, six players from Kerala were selected together for the prestigious Duleep Trophy. In reference to the book, former captains and cricket legends, including Anil Kumble, Rahul Dravid, V. V. S. Laxman, Sanjay Bangar, former Sri Lanka captain Duleep Mendis, former BCCI Secretary Sanjay Jagdale, and Kerala-based actor Mohanlal have also shared their views.
