He instructed officials to avoid unnecessary delays in works related to drinking water and electricity supply and to ensure immediate redressal of complaints.

He also ordered strict action against illegal water connections so that people do not face difficulties in getting water during the summer season. Detailed discussions were held with officials of PHED and AVVNL regarding development works related to water and electricity supply and the overall situation in the district.

“Public Representatives’ Issues Must Be Resolved Promptly”

During the meeting, MP Mahima Kumari Mewar, Rajsamand MLA Deepti Maheshwari, Nathdwara MLA Vishvaraj Singh Mewar and District President Jagdish Paliwal raised several important issues related to drinking water supply, especially supply from the Bagheri Project, electricity supply, RDSS, farm ponds, medical and health services and RVPNL.

Taking immediate note of the concerns, Dr. Bairwa directed PHED officials to resolve all complaints at the earliest.

The Deputy Chief Minister stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, the state government is committed to improving the standard of living of the people. He said the government’s priority is to ensure that benefits of schemes reach every section of society transparently and within a fixed timeframe.

He added that schemes related to expansion of basic infrastructure, drinking water and electricity supply, healthcare, education, employment and social security are being effectively implemented in both rural and urban areas so that relief reaches the last person.

Dr. Bairwa instructed officials to work sensitively and ensure speedy resolution of public grievances. He emphasised that schemes should be implemented effectively on the ground and that no eligible person should be deprived of government benefits.

“Vande Ganga is Creating Awareness for Water Conservation; Everyone’s Participation is Essential”

Dr. Prem Chand Bairwa said Rajasthan has always been identified with the balanced use of water resources. He noted that people in the state have historically found ways to prosper despite limited water availability and have treated water not merely as a resource but as a lifeline deserving respect.

He said traditional water sources in villages continue to teach the importance of living in harmony with nature for sustainable development.

Highlighting the need for collective efforts, he said water conservation must now become a people’s movement. If every individual resolves to save water, promotes rainwater harvesting and participates in protecting water sources, future water crises can be effectively tackled.

He especially appealed to youth and rural communities to actively join efforts aimed at conserving water.
