Efforts are being accelerated to provide cashless healthcare facilities to thousands of employees and their family members associated with council-run schools, Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs), and the PM Poshan Yojana.
In line with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s vision of employee welfare, the Basic Education Department has decided to organize training programmes across the state to ensure the effective implementation of the scheme and timely delivery of health security benefits to all eligible beneficiaries.
Education Director (Basic), Anil Bhushan Chaturvedi, has issued necessary instructions to all District Basic Education Officers in this regard.
According to the directive, teachers, Shiksha Mitras, special educators (CWSN instructors), cooks associated with the PM Poshan Yojana, and family members of Anganwadi workers serving in Basic Education Council schools, council-recognized schools (both aided and self-financed), and Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas will be covered under the cashless healthcare facility.
To ensure smooth implementation of the scheme and facilitate the beneficiary registration process, a special training programme will be organized on June 4 at 12:00 noon at the Office of the Director of Education (Basic), Lucknow.
The programme will provide detailed information about the scheme to designated officials and personnel from the concerned departments and districts.
To ensure successful implementation, districts have been directed to nominate nodal personnel and ensure their participation in the training programme.
