Ultra-Luxury State Guest House to Set New Benchmark in Hospitality in Ayodhya

Ayodhya, June 2026 : Under the initiative of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, construction of a grand and ultra-modern VVIP Guest House is progressing rapidly near Ram Katha Park in the holy city of Ayodhya. The facility is expected to become a landmark example of modern hospitality while complementing the city’s growing importance as a major religious tourism destination.

The ambitious project, being executed by the State Estate Department, involves an investment of ₹93.75 crore and is expected to be completed by November 2027.

Spread across an area of 14,510 square metres, the guest house complex will feature multiple modern blocks and facilities. These include:

  • Chief Minister’s Block (G+4): 7,155 sq m
  • Residential Block (B+G+5): 9,496 sq m
  • Dormitory Block (G+5): 2,371.50 sq m
  • Service Block (G+1): 26,050 sq m

In addition, the complex will include a guard room, time office, pass office, electrical substation, central lawn, water fountain, staff parking, visitor parking, electrification infrastructure, and water supply facilities.

According to Umesh Chandra, Executive Engineer, PWD CD-2, plastering work on the fourth floor of the Chief Minister’s Block is currently underway, while mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) and lift installation works are progressing on the third and fourth floors. In the Residential Block, basement slab work has been completed, while painting and external plastering are in progress in the Dormitory Block.

The project is designed to provide world-class accommodation facilities for VVIPs and distinguished guests visiting Ayodhya. It will feature modern infrastructure and premium amenities across all blocks.

Regular Monitoring of Construction Work

With Ayodhya witnessing a significant increase in visits by senior government officials, dignitaries, and international guests, the guest house is expected to significantly enhance the city’s hospitality infrastructure.

The complex will offer ample parking facilities, landscaped central lawns, decorative water fountains, green spaces, and robust security arrangements. Besides serving high-profile visitors to the Ram Temple and other religious sites, the project is expected to contribute substantially to Ayodhya’s overall urban development.

Officials are conducting regular monitoring of the construction work to ensure both quality standards and timely completion.

Project Will Further Enhance Ayodhya’s Grand Image: District Magistrate

District Magistrate Shashank Tripathi recently inspected the project and directed the executing agency to maintain high construction standards while adhering to project timelines.

According to Tripathi, once completed, the ultra-modern guest house will further strengthen Ayodhya’s image as a world-class spiritual and cultural destination and add to the city’s growing infrastructure and prestige.
