Candidates express gratitude to Chief Minister for transparent recruitment process

Lucknow : Under the Yogi Government’s Mission Rozgar, 647 forest guards/wildlife guards and 41 junior engineers, selected through the UP Subordinate Services Selection Commission, received their appointment letters at a ceremony held in Lok Bhavan auditorium on Tuesday. The newly appointed officials unanimously expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on the occasion.

The candidates credited CM Yogi for their success, acknowledging that their hard work has finally borne fruit due to his efforts. They praised the Chief Minister for overseeing a transparent and fair recruitment process.

Additionally, the candidates shared their experiences regarding changes in the recruitment process before and after 2017. They highlighted that prior to 2017, the process was marred by nepotism, discrimination, corruption, and exploitation. In contrast, since 2017, the recruitment process has been characterized by complete transparency and integrity.

Pooja Tripathi, appointed as a junior engineer with the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board, views this achievement as a significant success for the government. She remarked, “Youth are now securing government jobs through a transparent process based on their hard work. I, too, have benefited from this transparent and fair recruitment process. I extend my heartfelt thanks to the Chief Minister for this opportunity.”

Vijay Pratap Singh from Mau, who was selected as a forest guard, expressed similar sentiments by highlighting the government’s dedication to youth. “Today’s event is a testament to the government’s commitment to young people. Receiving my appointment letter directly from the Chief Minister is a profound honor. The Yogi government’s swift recruitment process, with appointment letters issued within a month of the results, underscores its commitment to the youth’s future. The record number of appointments is a clear demonstration of this commitment.”

Varsha Rani from Moradabad, appointed as a forest guard in the Department of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change, remarked, “Previously, bribes were often required for government appointments, but now selections are made purely based on merit. The practice of bribing for jobs has become a thing of the past. The Chief Minister has set a new standard for Uttar Pradesh by ensuring a transparent appointment process. I am deeply grateful to the Chief Minister for making this possible, without any need for recommendations or bribes.”

Jaya Yadav from Bareilly, appointed as a junior engineer with the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board, expressed her appreciation for the Chief Minister’s efforts. She stated, “Under the Chief Minister’s leadership, we are witnessing a fair and transparent recruitment process. The government’s commitment extends from ensuring women’s safety to providing employment opportunities. Out of the 688 appointments, 128 are women, which highlights the support for women under CM Yogi’s leadership. We now feel safe and empowered, and we can go out at any time without fear. For us, Yogi ji is number one.”

Twice in two months: Salim Ahmed receives dual appointments under Yogi govt

Salim Ahmed from Rampur, who has been appointed as a forest guard in the Department of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change, shared his appreciation for the current administration. Having previously been selected for the post of Lekhpal two months ago, Salim stated, “I am living proof of the fair recruitment process under the Yogi government. The way youth are being appointed now is unprecedented. This government has rewarded our hard work and integrity. I passed the exam twice and was selected for both positions. If you are qualified and capable, securing a government job under this administration is entirely possible.”

He added, “This is the same state where, before 2017, both the youth and their dreams were disregarded during interviews. Today, the Chief Minister himself is personally distributing appointment letters.”

He became emotional as he recalled, “In the past, whenever a government officer visited my village, my father would clean up for them. Now, his son has been appointed to government positions not once but twice. The significance of this moment is beyond words. I sincerely thank the Chief Minister and hope the Yogi government continues, ensuring impartiality and fairness.”
