As soon as the flood control was contacted, the Nagar Sena team reached there and helped.
In Bijapur, flood situation had been created due to heavy rains in the past few days and waterlogging situation is still there in many places. The administration is providing help to the general public through the flood and disaster management department with full alertness. The
flood control room is working 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Immediate action is being taken on receiving information. On receiving information through the flood control room, the team of Nagarsena was immediately sent to village Gumra where 11 villagers including pregnant woman Mrs. Rita Alam were rescued safely.
Similarly, on the information of the health department, pregnant woman Mrs. Sunny Gonde of Padmaur village of Gram Panchayat Reddy was also rescued. In the rescue team, Nagar Sena jawans Raju Wacham, Tati Hunga, Rooplal Belgaya, Inder Manjhi, Brahmanand Kunjam, Gorla Narayan Jilius Tirki Nirdosh Barla, RHO of Health Department Anasuya Rao and Kotwar Kamalu Hapka made important contributions.
