CM Dr. Yadav will attend the Global Renewable Energy Investors Meet and Expo in Gandhinagar
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 4th Global Renewable Energy Investors Meet and Expo (RE-INVEST-24) in Gandhinagar, Gujarat on 16 September. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will also attend it. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will share the work being done in the field of clean and green energy in Madhya Pradesh. The states of Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Telangana, Rajasthan, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh are actively participating in this summit. This year the major international partners of the summit also include countries like Australia, Denmark, Germany and Norway.
What is RE-INVEST Summit
It is a flagship programme of the Government of India to showcase India’s renewable energy potential to the world and attract investment in the sector by initiating multilateral dialogue. It is a platform to bring together global investors, developers, manufacturers and innovators in the field of renewable energy. The programme aims to boost the development and deployment of renewable energy in India and connect Indian energy stakeholders with the global investment community.
The first RE-Invest India was held in 2015 and the second in 2018 and the third RE-Invest India in 2020. RE-Invest India has been successful in attracting a large number of participants from India and abroad. This is the fourth RE-Invest Summit, in which more than 40 sessions will be organised. Thousands of delegates will participate in it. The central theme of RE-Invest 2024 is “Mission 500 Gigawatt”.
