Minister Lakhan Lal Devangan performed Bhoomi Pujan for the development work of three wards
In the Bhoomi Pujan program organized in ward number 48 Semipali Basti of Korba Municipal Corporation area, Minister Shri Lakhan Lal Devangan performed the Bhoomi Pujan for the works from near KPS School in ward number 47 Jamnipali through Ramla Devi to the front of the Gram Sabha Bhawan from the District Mineral Trust fund, construction of roof on the platform in Kosgai Dai courtyard in Gopalpur at a cost of Rs. 7.99 lakh, construction of new building in ward number 48 Primary School Semipali at a cost of Rs. 13.64 lakh, and construction of pandal in ward number 53 Tulsi Nagar Sweeper Mohalla at a cost of Rs. 4.95 lakh.
On this occasion, Minister Shri Devangan said that no such ward, colony or area will be deprived of development works. Priorities have been set by making good use of all the funds or items available. Shri Vishnu Dev government intends to start development works simultaneously in all the wards. For this, works are being started by getting immediate approval from DMF, infrastructure item as well as other items. Along with road drains, other infrastructure works like stage, community building and pandal, etc. are also being started. Minister Shri Devangan said that just a week ago, the Chief Minister has approved development works worth Rs 7 crore for Korba city, in this list also, necessary works of all the wards have been approved. Work will be started as soon as the tender process is completed. On this occasion, Ward Councilor Shri Vijay Sahu said that for the last 4 and a half years, he was worried about road and drain construction, the ward was being discriminated against. Minister Shri Devangan has got the approval for all the stalled works in just 8 months and the work is being started today.
On this occasion, Ward No. 16 Councilor Narendra Dewangan, MIC member Sunil Patel, Ward No. 48 Councilor Shri Vijay Sahu, Ward No. 47 Councilor Pushpa Devi Kanwar, Booth President Thaneswar Singh, Atiram Kanwar, Vishal Singh, Ratan Bai, Kalesh Kanwar, Sumitra Kanwar, Nakul Singh, Anand Singh Kanwar, Sumiran Singh and a large number of ward residents were present.
