May Everyone Find Happiness and Peace, and May an Atmosphere of Satisfaction Be Created Everywhere – Deputy Chief Minister’s Message to Ganaraya
Pune : Deputy Chief Minister and District Guardian Minister, Ajit Pawar, expressed his heartfelt wishes at the feet of Lord Ganaraya, hoping for happiness, peace, and joy for everyone, and for an atmosphere of satisfaction to be created everywhere. During the start of the immersion procession in the city, he emotionally bid farewell to Lord Ganesha, proclaiming, “Ganpati Bappa Morya, come early next year!”
Mr. Pawar offered worship to five Ganeshas in the Mahatma Phule Mandai area, including Kasba Ganesha of Pune, Tambadi Jogeshwari Ganesha, Guruji Talim Mandal, Shri Tulshibag Public Ganeshotsav Mandal, and Lokmanya Tilak Ganeshotsav Mandal at Kesariwada. After the worship, the immersion procession was initiated by this group.
On this occasion, Union Minister of State for Cooperation Muralidhar Mohol, State Minister for Higher and Technical Education Chandrakantdada Patil, MP Sunetra Pawar, MLA Ravindra Dhangekar, Chairperson of the State Women’s Commission Rupali Chakankar, Pune Municipal Commissioner Dr. Rajendra Bhosle, Pune City Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar, Collector Dr. Suhas Diwase, and other dignitaries were present.
Earlier, Mr. Pawar visited the Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Mandal and the Akhil Mandai Ganeshotsav Mandal, where he performed the aarti of Lord Ganesha.
Mr. Pawar remarked that Lord Ganaraya was welcomed with great devotion and celebration, both across the country and in the state. Pune’s public Ganeshotsav has a long and proud tradition that is widely respected. He added that citizens of all castes and religions participate in Ganeshotsav, enhancing its significance.
The Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganapati Mandal has decided to conduct the immersion of Lord Ganesha by 4 PM today, in consideration of the large number of devotees visiting for darshan. Mr. Pawar commended this thoughtful decision.
The state government is always committed to maintaining law and order, ensuring a safe environment for everyone, said Mr. Pawar.
On this occasion, several prominent figures were present, including Shrikant Shete, President of Kasba Ganesha; Prasad Kulkarni, President of Tambadi Jogeshwari Ganesha Mandal; Praveen Pardeshi, President of Guruji Talim Mandal; Vikas Pawar, President of Shri Tulshibag Public Ganeshotsav Mandal; Dr. Rohit Tilak, Chief of Lokmanya Tilak Ganeshotsav Mandal Festival; Manik Chavan, President of Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Mandal; Sanjeev Javale, President of Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganapati Trust; and Anna Thorat, President of Akhil Mandai Ganeshotsav Mandal, along with various trustees and office bearers of these organizations.
Earlier, Mr. Pawar also paid tribute to the statues of Lokmanya Tilak and former Deputy Prime Minister Yashwantrao Chavan in the Mahatma Phule Mandai area by offering floral wreaths.
