Madhya Pradesh Receives National Recognition under Ayushman Bharat Scheme

Madhya Pradesh has received a national award under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) in the category of ‘Best Performing Large State – Highest Pre-Authorizations with Biometric Authentication’. The award recognizes the State’s effective, transparent, and successful implementation of the biometric-based pre-authorization process under the scheme. With its outstanding performance, Madhya Pradesh has emerged as one of the leading large states in the country in this area. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav congratulated the team Ayushman Bharat Niramayam Madhya Pradesh for this success.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla expressed happiness over Madhya Pradesh receiving national recognition under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. He said that the achievement reflects the State Government’s commitment to transparency in healthcare services, technology-driven good governance, and citizen-centric welfare. Dy. Chief Minister Shri Shukla said, congratulating the team of Ayushman Bharat Niramayam Madhya Pradesh, district officials, hospitals, and all officers and employees associated with the scheme, that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, continuous efforts are being made to make healthcare services in the State more effective, transparent and citizen-centric.

The award was presented to Chief Executive Officer of Ayushman Bharat Niramayam Madhya Pradesh, Shri Arvind Shah, by Secretary, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Sushri Punya Salila Srivastava, during the National Review Meeting (Chintan Shivir) organised by the National Health Authority (NHA) at Madhya Pradesh Bhawan in New Delhi. The event was attended by Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Authority, Dr. Sunil Kumar Barnwal, Joint Secretary Shri Kiran Gopal Vaska and senior officials from the National Health Authority and the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI).
