Chief Minister Youth Suyog Launched to Empower Rajasthan’s Youth Through Sports, Skills and Leadership

Jaipur, July 2026: Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Tuesday launched the Chief Minister Youth Suyog initiative, a comprehensive platform aimed at connecting young people with nation-building through sports, skill development, leadership, and employment opportunities. The programme was inaugurated at the Chief Minister’s residence, with pilot projects beginning in the Bagru Assembly constituency and Baran district.

Addressing the launch event, the Chief Minister described Youth Suyog as a transformative initiative that would channel the energy of Rajasthan’s youth into meaningful opportunities. He said the platform would provide the right direction, opportunities, and support to help young people realise their full potential. Through team sports such as cricket, volleyball, kabaddi, and football, the initiative seeks to nurture leadership at the panchayat and ward levels, enabling youth to develop their talents while contributing to society.

Highlighting India’s demographic advantage, Sharma said nearly 65 per cent of the country’s population is young, making youth the nation’s greatest strength. He noted that the initiative draws inspiration from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s MY Bharat programme, which encourages active youth participation in nation-building. The Youth Suyog platform will be integrated with the MY Bharat portal, allowing participants to access a wider range of opportunities and benefits.

During the event, the Chief Minister interacted virtually with young people and sportspersons from Bagru and Baran, who welcomed the initiative and said it would provide rural and urban youth with a strong platform to showcase their abilities while improving access to skill training and employment opportunities. Sharma urged them to adopt healthy lifestyles and help transform public health awareness into a mass movement. He also expressed confidence that local sporting talent would bring laurels to both Rajasthan and the country.

The Chief Minister said the state government is committed to expanding sports infrastructure from villages to towns so that young people receive opportunities to develop their interests from an early stage. He added that the government has been incorporating suggestions from youth into the state Budget and remains committed to supporting them throughout their journey toward success.

Under the Youth Suyog programme, grassroots sporting competitions will be organised, beginning at the ward and panchayat levels. Winning teams will advance to the Assembly constituency level, creating a structured pathway for sporting talent. Youth will be able to register online through the Suyog portal, while schools, colleges, panchayats and ward-level sports grounds will be digitally mapped to build a comprehensive sports ecosystem.

The initiative also envisages the establishment of district-level Suyog Youth Clubs, with every registered participant becoming a member. These clubs will be linked with panchayat and ward-level youth clubs, creating a statewide network to identify, mentor and support young talent. Initially, the programme will be implemented as a pilot in Bagru and Baran before being expanded across Rajasthan.

Special registration camps will be organised in schools, colleges and community centres to encourage youth participation. Volunteer activities, including cleanliness drives and digital literacy campaigns, will help identify leadership potential. Through the Suyog-Charcha platform, young people will also be able to interact with the government via youth dialogues, talk shows and video conferencing.

Highlighting the government’s achievements, Sharma said that over the past two-and-a-half years, more than 1.78 lakh government appointments have been made, while recruitment for around one lakh additional posts is underway. A recruitment calendar covering 1.25 lakh vacancies has also been released. In addition, 4.5 lakh youth have secured employment in the private sector. He asserted that no paper leak incidents had occurred during this period and that all recruitment examinations had been conducted transparently.

The Chief Minister also highlighted the implementation of the Rajasthan Skill Policy 2025 and Rajasthan Youth Policy 2025, which aim to provide quality skill training. More than 3.5 lakh youth have already received skill development training, while over four lakh beneficiaries have received financial assistance worth Rs 1,347 crore under the Chief Minister Youth Sambal Scheme. He added that more than 4,500 startups have also been registered under the state’s entrepreneurship initiatives.

Deputy Chief Minister Dr Prem Chand Bairwa, Law and Justice Minister Jogaram Patel, senior officials, legislators and a large number of youth participated in the programme, while students and young people from Baran joined through video conferencing.
