Strengthening Institutional Collaboration in Public Policy & Good Governance: CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that institutional collaboration in public policy and good governance will be further strengthened. He has initiated efforts to enhance the role of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis in fostering long-term cooperation in good governance, environmental conservation, resource management, public policy and sustainable development.

In the presence of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis and the International Institute of Waste Management (IIWM).

The MoU signing ceremony was held at Samatva Bhavan, the Chief Minister’s Residence, where Chief Minister Dr. Yadav congratulated the participating institutions and officials on this collaborative initiative.

The MoU was signed by Prof. Rajeev Dixit, Vice Chairman of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis, and Shri Praveen Ramdas, Managing Trustee of the International Institute of Waste Management (IIWM).

Under the agreement, the two institutions will jointly undertake research, training, capacity-building programmes, and a wide range of academic and professional activities. The collaboration is expected to contribute to strengthening good governance, public policy, environmental management, knowledge creation and the development of practical, evidence-based solutions.

The event was attended by the Institute’s Chief Executive Officer Shri Vibhash Thakur, IIWM Trustee Shri Vijay Sakhlecha, Governing Council Member Dr. N.P. Shukla, Director General of the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology Dr. Anil Kothari, and Chairman of the Hindi Granth Academy Shri Ashok Kadel.
