Development Works Prioritized to Meet Citizens’ Needs – Minister Chhagan Bhujbal

Nashik : State Minister for Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Protection, Chhagan Bhujbal, emphasized that development works will be prioritized with a focus on the basic needs of the citizens.

Minister Shri. Bhujbal was speaking at the Bhoomipujan (groundbreaking ceremony) and inauguration of various development projects at Savargaon, Khirdisathe, Nagarsul, and Dhamangaon in Yevala Taluka today.

Present on the occasion were Sub-Divisional Officer Babasaheb Gadve, Sub-Divisional Engineer Kiran Jadhav, Medical Officer Dr. Kuldeep Bagal, Naib Tehsildar Vivek Chandwadkar, Taluka Agriculture Officer Shubham Baird, Sarpanch Lankabai Mundhe, and others.

Minister Shri. Bhujbal mentioned that the Bhoomipujan works will commence rapidly and be completed with quality. Roadworks are expected to be finished within six months. Additionally, the dam work at Mamdapur has been approved by the forest department and will begin within a week. To address the water issue at Khirdisathe, officials will be instructed to inspect and study the possibility of bringing water from the Dongargaon reach canal via Potchari. The regional water supply schemes for Rajapur and 41 villages, Dhulgaon, and 38 villages will also be implemented in the coming period, Minister Bhujbal announced.

Furthermore, Minister Bhujbal shared that the Shiv Srishti project is progressing across four and a half acres in Yevala Taluka. On September 22, the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj will be brought in, followed by a grand procession starting from Angangaon. Citizens are encouraged to participate in large numbers. The first phase of the project will be inaugurated on October 2, and citizens are invited to attend.

Savargaon:

1. Bhoomipujan of the 5.2 km road from Ramma 08 to Ankute, Kusur Railway Station under the Chief Minister Gram Sadak Yojana (Phase-2, Batch 1) (Rs.502.03 Lakhs)
2. Inauguration of Savargaon Bus Stop funded by the MLA Local Development Fund

Khirdisathe:

1. Bhoomipujan of the 7.2 km road from Nagarsul to Khirdisathe under the Chief Minister Gram Sadak Yojana (Phase-2, Batch 1) (Rs.777.27 Lakhs)

Nagarsul:

1. Bhoomipujan of improvements to the Ankai Kusmadi Nagarsool Andarsool Pimpalgaon Jalal Road, Rama 451 km 40/00 to 45/00, funded by the supplementary budget (Rs.500 Lakhs)
2. Bhoomipujan of repair works for Gramin Hospital and residential facilities in Nagarsul (Rs.300 Lakhs)

Dhamangaon:

1. Bhoomipujan of the 02 to Dhamangaon road under the Chief Minister Village Road Scheme (Phase-2, Batch 1) (Rs.368.60 Lakhs)
2. Bhoomipujan of the Mahadevwadi road improvement project (Rs.30 Lakhs)
3. Bhoomipujan of the Palkhed Left Canal Dhamane Nalla Escape Gate (Rs.10 Lakhs)
