Mock Drill Conducted at Ropeway in Hanuman Ji Temple Area, Khole
Joint Exercise by Civilian Security, NDRF, and SDRF; Passengers Rescued from Ropeway
Jaipur : A mock drill was conducted by the district administration on Saturday at the ropeway located within the Hanuman Ji Temple premises in Khole, Jaipur. Under the leadership of Additional District Collector (South), Mrs. Shaifali Kushwaha, personnel from the Civil Security Department, NDRF, and SDRF successfully carried out a rescue operation for passengers trapped in the ropeway.
Mrs. Shaifali Kushwaha stated that during the drill, the security personnel and volunteers demonstrated their skills, techniques, and expertise by providing timely assistance to passengers stranded in the ropeway or trolley at height and ensured their safe descent.
Commandant Mr. Vikas Singh emphasized that the purpose of the mock drill was to verify that the necessary arrangements are in place for the safe evacuation of people from high-risk areas like ropeways.
Inspector Rajendra Singh Bhati, Chief Ropeway Inspector, along with officials from the Medical Department, Jaipur Development Authority, and Temple Administration, were present during the drill.
