Congress’ Foundation Is Crumbling Like the Babri Structure: CM Yogi
Jind/Sonepat/Karnal : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Haryana on Sunday as part of his election campaign. He held public meetings in support of BJP candidates from Narwana, Rai, and Asandh assembly constituencies. Highlighting the development work done by the BJP, Yogi called for the “Kamal” (lotus symbol of the BJP) to bloom for the third time in Haryana. His criticisms were directed towards the Congress, INLD, BSP, and Aam Aadmi Party.
In a direct attack on the Congress, Yogi Adityanath likened the party’s current state to the Babri structure in Ayodhya, stating that “just like the Babri structure, the Congress has become dilapidated.” He added that “giving it oxygen will only lead to security threats.” His comments were a sharp criticism of Congress, INLD, AAP, and BSP.
Congress and INLD Have Disregarded India’s Interests
CM Yogi’s first public meeting was held in Narwana in support of BJP candidate Krishna Kumar Bedi. He remarked that the long wait of 500 years for the Ram temple in Ayodhya has finally ended, with Lord Ram now seated in his rightful place. Yogi criticized the Congress for not building the Ram temple immediately after independence, despite there being minimal controversy at the time. He attributed this delay to the Congress’s attempts to impose secularism. According to Yogi, both Congress and INLD have consistently insulted the faith of the nation and its revered figures.

Congress and INLD Thrive on Nepotism
Yogi Adityanath further pointed out that Prime Minister Modi has named Ayodhya’s international airport after Maharishi Valmiki, while Congress and INLD have long engaged in nepotism. He accused them of insulting prominent figures like Lord Ram, Lord Krishna, and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. He also criticized Congress for naming development schemes after its own leaders rather than notable figures from Indian history, such as Maharishi Valmiki or Sant Ravidas.
Congress and INLD Misused Temple Funds During Their Rule
The Chief Minister accused Congress and INLD of using power to loot, even going as far as to take money from Hindu temples. He pointed out that during the COVID-19 pandemic, Congress and INLD leaders were nowhere to be found, while BJP workers were at the forefront, serving the public with the motto “Seva Hi Sangathan” (service is organization). Yogi highlighted the various initiatives launched under BJP rule, including the construction of the Ayodhya International Airport named after Maharishi Valmiki and the establishment of kitchens named after Maa Shabari.
Congress and INLD Prioritize Vote Banks Over Hindus
Yogi emphasized that Hindus in Bangladesh are being persecuted, with Hindu temples being demolished and people being killed. He noted that over 90 percent of the affected Hindus are Dalits, yet Congress remains silent, prioritizing its vote bank over the well-being of Hindus. He accused Congress, INLD, and independent candidates of engaging in caste-based politics without offering solutions to real problems. According to Yogi, the BJP has fulfilled its promises and will continue to do so.
Yogi’s Appeal: “Support Naib Singh Saini for a Wave of Development”
In Rai Assembly Constituency, Yogi held a public rally in support of BJP candidate Krishna Gehlawat. Before the rally, the CM paid tribute to a statue of national hero Maharana Pratap. In his speech, Yogi praised Maharana Pratap’s unwavering commitment to self-respect, homeland, and religion, drawing parallels between his fight against foreign invaders and the current political battle in India. Yogi emphasized that this election is about advancing Prime Minister Modi’s vision of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat” (One India, Best India).
Congress Nurtured Naxalism and Terrorism, BJP Is Eradicating It
Yogi concluded by accusing Congress-INLD, and the Aam Aadmi Party of having a divisive agenda. He reminded the audience that Congress was responsible for implementing Article 370 in Kashmir, while the Bharatiya Jana Sangh was the first to oppose it. He credited PM Modi for fulfilling the dream of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee by revoking Article 370. Yogi argued that Congress, driven by its need for Muslim votes, did not remove Article 370, and accused the party of fostering terrorism and Naxalism
INLD Accused of Nepotism; ‘AAP’ Trapped in Jail-Bail Controversies
CM Yogi Adityanath alleged that the Congress is hostile to the country, INLD is steeped in nepotism, and the Aam Aadmi Party is entangled in legal issues involving jail and bail. In contrast, he said the BJP, under the leadership of PM Modi, has delivered better security and prosperity. He further emphasized that nepotism, hooliganism, corruption, and extortion are not hidden in the Congress and INLD, but Haryana, under the leadership of Manohar Lal Khattar and Naib Singh Saini, has emerged as a hub of development free from nepotism and corruption. He also mentioned that India is set to establish three sports universities, with one each in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.
During Congress Rule, China and Pakistan Encroached on Borders
The CM stated that a soldier from Haryana was martyred at the border a few days ago, and the state’s brave soldiers continue to risk their lives for the country’s security. During Congress rule, China and Pakistan used to breach Indian borders. But today, our soldiers enter Pakistan and eliminate terrorist camps with surgical strikes. Yogi added that in Haryana, the focus is no longer on caste, but on development, employment, security, housing, ration distribution, and ensuring one medical college per district. He appealed to voters to support Naib Singh Saini for a government that brings development and progress.
Rahul Gandhi Insults Sikhs Abroad
In a public meeting in Asandh constituency, Yogi Adityanath urged people to vote for BJP candidate Yogendra Rana. He claimed that during Congress rule, Haryana had the worst sex ratio and the state saw the abuse of daughters and sisters. However, after 2014, the sex ratio has improved to 900 women for every 1000 men. He highlighted the opening of Haryana’s first medical university in Karnal and the establishment of a sports university, positioning the state as a model for development, free from nepotism.
Yogi also accused the Congress of blocking the construction of the Nankana Sahib Corridor in Pakistan and preventing Harikirtan from being performed on Guru Gobind Singh Maharaj’s Prakash Parv. He criticized Rahul Gandhi for making derogatory comments about Sikhs abroad and questioned why Congress continues to insult the traditions of India’s great gurus. Yogi claimed that the Congress had betrayed Sikh brothers in 1984 and continues to dishonor India.
Congress’ Foundation Is Crumbling Like the Babri Structure
Yogi said that Congress is falling apart, just like the Babri structure in Ayodhya. He remarked that Ram devotees once chanted to demolish the Babri structure, and its destruction led to the construction of the Ram Temple. He warned against divisive politics and said that unity would ensure the country’s strength. Yogi also noted that before 2017, Uttar Pradesh experienced riots every third day, but under PM Modi’s double-engine government, the state has been riot-free for over seven years. He added that those who incite riots would have their wealth confiscated and distributed to the poor.
Yogi urged voters to reject Congress, which, according to him, is responsible for the massacre of Sikhs in 1984 and is now on its last breath. He emphasized that giving Congress a lifeline would compromise the country’s security. He concluded by stating that Congress, BSP, and INLD are mired in corruption, with their only agenda being “divide and rule.” He called for unity to bring Naib Singh Saini’s government to power under PM Modi’s leadership, working towards a developed India.
