District-Wide Robust Efforts Needed to Boost Industry and Investment : CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the state government is commited to maximizing local employment. He assured that the state government will fully support industrialists in developing industries and promoting investments. To boost small industries, markets will be provided, and efforts will be made to enhance key regional industries in the Sagar division, such as brass, incense sticks, food industries, tourism, bidi, and furniture. The goal is to double the business of industrialists. Dr. Yadav called for positive and concrete efforts in every district to promote industry and investment, ensuring ample motivation and support. He encouraged exploring diverse opportunities in each district. Dr. Yadav discussed these initiatives with public representatives, industrialists, and administrative officers via video conferencing, in preparation for the Regional Industry Conclave at Samatva Bhavan in Sagar on September 27.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under “One District-One Product”, special attention should be paid to the products of the region. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav discussed with Shri. LN Chaturvedi of M/s Meenakshi Metals, Shri Rahul Jain of M/s Parasnath Glass Tuff Pvt. Ltd. Sagar, Shri Arpit Agarwal of M/s Inspirit Industries, Semi-Urban Industrial Institute Village Gaurgain, Chhatarpur, Shri Manish Jain of MRP Agro Ltd. Tikamgarh, Shri Santosh Suri of Yogya Equipment Pvt. Ltd. Niwari, Shri Rakesh Agarwal of Khajuraho Pulses Niwari, Shri Manoj Kesharwani of Hotel Mohan Raj Vilas Panna and took suggestions. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also directed to work in the field of education in Sagar division.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav instructed collectors and commissioners to ensure smooth arrangements for the upcoming conclave. He gathered information on industrial expansion and investment opportunities across all districts. The Chief Minister emphasized the need for a detailed action plan, developed in consultation with local public representatives and industrialists. He stressed that current resources should be utilized to support ongoing efforts. Additionally, he highlighted the importance of exploring possibilities for establishing industries such as toy manufacturing, milk products, flour mills, and rice mills, and encouraged collaboration with self-help groups. Dr. Yadav confirmed his attendance at the Regional Industry Conclave in Sagar on September 27.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Panna is also included in Rampath Gaman and Krishna Pathey. No stone will be left unturned in the development of this area. The state government will make suitable arrangements for cutting the diamonds found in Panna. Niwari MLA Shri Anil Jain said that there are immense possibilities of tourism in Orchha, making better arrangements for food and accommodation for tourists here will further promote tourism.

In the meeting, local public representatives and industrialists gave suggestions regarding the possibilities of industry and investment in their respective districts. MLA Shri Shailendra Jain suggested that the price of incense sticks increases if bamboo is brought from outside for the incense stick industry, so efforts should be made to produce quality bamboo locally. He said that the number of tourists has increased after the Nauradehi Sanctuary was declared a Tiger Reserve. Suggestions were given to make proper arrangements for accommodation and food for tourists around this area. MLA Shri Brijendra Pratap Singh from Panna district said that after the declaration of buffer zone, many mines here have gone into the buffer zone. A suggestion was given to identify some areas for mines.

It was informed in the meeting that representatives from five countries, including Mongolia’s Ambassador Shri Ganbold Dambajav and Thailand’s Consul General Shri Donavit Poolsawat, Iran, Kenya, Algeria etc. will participate in the Regional Industry Conclave being held in Sagar on September 27. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister Shri Chetan Kashyap, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Shri Govind Singh Rajput and senior officials of the Industries Department were present in the meeting. Minister of State for Forest and Environment Shri Dilip Ahirwar, MP Shri Rahul Singh Lodhi and local MLAs Shri Gopal Bhargav, Shri Shailendra Jain, Shri Brijendra Pratap Singh joined virtually..
