A Promising Future Ahead for Madhya Pradesh and Rajisthan: CM Dr. Yadav

A tripartite review meeting was held today between Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and the Central Government regarding the Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal ERCP Link Project at the Ministry of Jal Shakti located at Shramik Shakti Bhavan, New Delhi. Union Jal Shakti Minister Shri CR Patil, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and Rajasthan Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma along with senior officials of the Central and State Governments were present in the meeting.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that significant progress is being made in the country on the river linking campaign under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. A major focus is the Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal ERCP Link Project, which involves collaboration between Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. With support from the Central Government, both states have successfully resolved a 20-year-old dispute, and the positive outcomes of this project will soon be visible. Dr. Yadav expressed optimism that the future will be exceptional for both Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Shri Sharma informed that the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) contract of Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal ERCP Link Project is about to be signed. Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan are working together in the interest of both the states.
