Over 3,000 Attend Skill and Employment Camp; 350 Trained, 210 Chosen for Self-Employment

Jaipur : A one-day Skill, Employment, and Entrepreneurship Camp, along with a Career Seminar, was organized by the Sub-Regional Employment Office, Jaipur, on Thursday, 26 September 2024, at Rajyasha Shakambhar Post Graduate College, Sambhar Lake.

Deputy Director of the Sub-Regional Employment Office, Mrs. Navrekha, shared her insights, motivating students and providing information on employment opportunities and departmental schemes. She also reported that 3,296 unemployed youths were registered at the camp.

A total of 40 private sector institutions and 8 public sector institutions participated in the camp, benefiting 1,267 job seekers. Initial selection rounds saw 707 candidates shortlisted, 350 candidates chosen for training, and 210 candidates selected for self-employment opportunities. During the career counseling session, subject experts guided the youth toward brighter career prospects.

Income Tax Officer Mr. Ramesh Sambaria, Executive President of Citizens Development Committee Sambhar Lake, Mr. Anil Gattani, and Professor (Dr.) Gyan Prakash Dayma played key roles in organizing the event.
