The new project will add four toilets and four bathrooms, complete with water facilities, to further enhance the campus infrastructure and ensure a better learning environment for the students.

Smt. Masanada M. Pertin, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, emphasized the importance of education in community empowerment. She noted that this initiative not only addresses critical infrastructure needs but also contributes to the holistic development of the students. She praised the partnership between NTPC, the District Administration, and PWD for their collective commitment to advancing education and regional development.

Akhilesh Singh, Head of Project at NTPC Bongaigaon, reiterated NTPC’s dedication to the overall growth of the region, particularly in the education sector. He underscored NTPC’s focus on providing quality infrastructure for female students, fostering a safe and conducive learning environment.

This project aligns with the Government of India’s Beti Bachao Beti Padhao campaign, further strengthening NTPC Bongaigaon’s mission to empower young women through educational and infrastructural support.
