Madhya Pradesh Sets Benchmark in Executing Central Schemes: CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that, just as the nation is progressing swiftly under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s leadership, Madhya Pradesh is advancing rapidly on its development path. The state is reaping the full benefits of schemes introduced under Prime Minister Shri Modi’s leadership and remains a frontrunner in implementing key Central Government Schemes, ensuring eligible beneficiaries receive timely support. Madhya Pradesh has also been recognized with numerous awards for its effective execution of these schemes.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is leading the country in the implementation of Central government schemes, which include PM Swanidhi Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, Agricultural Infrastructure Fund, Pradhan Mantri Matru-Vandana Yojana, PM Swamitva Yojana, Drug-free India Campaign, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Machhua Credit Card Yojana, National Animal Disease Control Programme, Pradhan Mantri Adarsh ​​Gram Yojana, National Livelihood Mission and Swachh Bharat Mission.

Progress and achievements of Madhya Pradesh in central schemes

  • As many as 8 lakh 20 thousand 575 houses have been built against the target of construction of 8 lakh 40 thousand 940 houses in Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban), The achievement in the scheme is 97.58 percent.
  • Against the target of construction of 37 lakh 98 thousand 709 houses in Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), 36 lakh 25 thousand 20 houses have been constructed. The achievement in the scheme is 95.43 percent.
  • In the Jal Jeevan Mission, 87.53 percent achievement has been achieved by providing 72 lakh 89 thousand 228 tap connections (Har Ghar Nal) against the target of 83 lakh 27 thousand 582.
  • The target of issuing 4 crore 70 lakh 96 thousand 914 Ayushman cards was achieved under the Ayushman Bharat Scheme. Against the set target, 4 crore 2 lakh 22 893 Ayushman cards have been issued. The percentage of achievement in the scheme is 85.83.
  • Against the target of constructing 72 thousand 994 kilometers of rural roads under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, 72 thousand 965 kilometers of roads have been constructed. The percentage of achievement in the scheme is 99.98.
  • 83 lakh 83 thousand 208 farmers targeted under the P.M. Kisan Samman Nidhi are getting 100 percent eligible farmer beneficiaries benefit regularly. The percentage of achievement in the scheme is 99.98.
  • 93 lakh beneficiaries registered under P.M. Jeevan Jyoti Insurance Scheme are getting the benefits. The percentage of achievement in the scheme is 100.
  • Against the target of issuing 29 lakh 99 thousand 23 Swamitva cards under the Swamitva Yojana, 23 lakh 50 thousand cards have been issued. Besides, 100 percent achievement has been achieved by conducting a drone survey of 43 thousand 130 villages.
  • Under Bharat Net Yojana, 100 percent achievement was achieved by installing optical fiber cables in 20 thousand 422 gram panchayats.
  • 77.96 percent achievement was achieved by distributing 7 lakh 79 thousand 651 soil health cards under the Soil Health Card Scheme.
  • Under the Kisan Credit Card Scheme, 100 percent achievement has been achieved against the set target by preparing credit cards for 65 lakh 83 thousand 726 farmers.
  • Under the Kisan Credit Card (Animal Husbandry) Scheme, 78.84 percent achievement was achieved by distributing 6 lakh 4 thousand 441 Kisan Credit Cards.
  • In the Kisan Credit Card (Fisheries) Scheme, 76 percent achievement was achieved by distributing 1 lakh 35 thousand 646 cards against the target of 1 lakh 77 thousand 390 for Kisan Credit.
  • Against the target of 26 lakh 15 thousand, 100 percent of beneficiaries have benefited under Atal Pension Yojana.
  • Madhya Pradesh has become the number-one state in the country by providing benefits to 11 lakh 74 thousand 96 beneficiaries against the target of 7 lakh 46 thousand 600 under the PM Swanidhi Yojana. An achievement of 157.25 percent has been achieved against the target in the scheme.
  • The state has become the leader in the country by constructing 5839 ponds against the target of 3900 ponds in the AMRUT Sarovar Scheme.
