Banswara, 52 Investors Sign MoUs for Investment Worth ₹8,936.46 Crore
Jaipur : The district-level event of the Rising Rajasthan investment summit concluded in Banswara on Wednesday, with the district’s in-charge minister Babulal Kharadi, who is also the Minister for Tribal Areas Development and Home Guard, serving as the chief guest. The event was attended by In-charge Secretary G.B. Chaturvedi, MLA from Gadhi Kailash Meena, District Chief Resham Malviya, District Collector Dr. Indrajeet Yadav, Labhchand Patel, and District Superintendent of Police Harshvardhan Agarwal.
On this occasion, District Collector Dr. Indrajeet Yadav provided information about the district-level Rising Rajasthan investment summit. During the event, MoUs worth ₹8,936.46 crore were signed with 52 investors. This investment is expected to create approximately 11,800 jobs in the district. The major proposals included ₹8,000 crore for a gold mine and ₹680 crore for three manganese mines. Additionally, eight proposals worth ₹65 crore for hotels and resorts, 16 proposals worth ₹60 crore for mineral processing, four proposals worth ₹40 crore for biofuel, and seven proposals worth ₹50 crore for agro-processing were also finalized.
During the program, an exhibition was held showcasing the district’s ODOP (One District One Product) items, including granite and marble tiles by Craftmen India, Kaushal Marble, RSWM, Banswara Syntex, along with stalls featuring handicrafts and local products.
The district’s in-charge minister, Babulal Kharadi, said that under the capable and sensitive leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, the state government is continuously working to realize the goal of a developed and leading Rajasthan. He mentioned that the Rising Rajasthan summit would foster industrial development and create new employment opportunities. The growth of industries will provide jobs for the local population, giving momentum to the district’s development. He emphasized the immense industrial potential given the district’s climate and also remembered the late industrialist Ratan Tata.
MLA Kailash Meena, on the occasion, said that the pace of development in the district is accelerating. The establishment of industries will provide employment to the youth and local residents. He also noted that the Prime Minister and Chief Minister are making significant efforts in the industrial sector.
District Chief Resham Malviya stated that industrial development in the district will create employment opportunities and accelerate growth. During the event, Banswara Udyog Sangh Secretary Deendayal Sharma and RSWM’s Business Head Naresh Kumar Bahedia shared their suggestions and experiences.
The General Manager of the District Industry and Commerce Center, Hitesh Joshi, welcomed the guests. Local entrepreneurs presented various demands to the in-charge minister, including the construction of a National Highway, uninterrupted power supply, a new industrial area by RIICO, regular air services from the district, a separate GSS for Chaubisoka Padla, and a two-lane paved road.
