Launch Event of RAFA Pro Biotics Juice in Lunglei

On the 18th of October 2024, RAFA Pro Biotics Juice was officially launched at the residence of Mr. F. Lalramnghinglova in Theiriat, Lunglei, with the launch being led by Lunglei District Horticulture Officer, Mr. B. Lalzarzova.

During the event, Mr. B. Lalzarzova expressed appreciation for those involved in the district’s horticulture sector, who have tirelessly worked to produce high-quality juice despite various challenges. He highlighted the successful launch of RAFA Pro Biotics Juice as a testament to their dedication and efforts. He also encouraged everyone to continue their hard work and further expand the initiative.

The District Horticulture Officer emphasized that local producers have successfully created juice products, providing opportunities for overcoming difficulties in fruit production. He urged the Lunglei Dragonfruit Growers Association to intensify efforts to increase production in the coming years. He also mentioned the recent establishment of the Horticulture Wholesale Centre on the ground floor of the Horticulture Office in Lunglei, in collaboration with NEIDA Lunglei District and the Farmers Producer Company Ltd. The center is a hub for local producers to gather and sell fresh produce at reasonable prices to the public.

The event was presided over by Mr. F. Lalramnghinglova. Speeches were delivered by the President of the Lunglei District Dragonfruit Growers Association, Mr. R. Lalthanmawia, and NEIDA District Coordinator for Lunglei, Mr. R. Lalrambeiseia. A report was also presented by Mr. F. Ramfangzauva, the creator of RAFA Pro Biotics Juice.

RAFA Pro Biotics Juice is made using ten different fruits, including apple, guava, pineapple, dragonfruit, mango, orange, lemon, pear, gooseberry, and passion fruit. The juice is suitable for people of all ages, from children to adults, as it utilizes a variety of locally grown fruits.

The different varieties of RAFA Pro Biotics Juice will be available for sale at the Lunglei Horticulture Wholesale Centre, located on the ground floor of the Horticulture Office building, starting from late October. Each 750ml bottle will be priced at ₹350.
