MoS for Forest Shri Ahirwar meets and condoles family of deceased Ramratan Yadav and Khairu Kol
Minister of State for Forest Shri Dilip Singh Ahirwar today visited Banka and Deori villages of Chandia tehsil in Umaria district where he met and condoled the families of deceased Ramratan and Khairu Kol who were killed in the elephant attack. In compliance with the instructions of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Shri Ahirwar handed over the approval orders for ex-gratia of Rs 8 lakh to the family members. Shri Ahirwar assured that in this sad moment, the state government and the forest department stand with the affected families and will extend all possible assistance.
As per the instructions of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, Minister of State for Forests, Shri Ahirwar, visited Chandia to inspect the incident site. During his visit, he met with the family of the deceased, Khairu Kol, and extended his condolences. He presented approval letters for financial assistance amounting to Rs 8 lakh to Sapna Kol, the daughter of Khairu Kol. Shri Ahirwar assured that, in addition to educational and hostel facilities for Sapna, further support and necessary assistance would also be provided.
Minister of State for Forest Shri Ahirwar reached the house of deceased Ramratan Yadav in village Devra and handed over the letter of approval of ex-gratia amount of Rs 8 lakh to Ramratan’s wife Smt. Kallibai Yadav. Shri Ahirwar asked not to worry and assured that the government would extend assistance in every possible way.
On this occasion, Municipal Chairman of Chandia Shri Purushottam Kol, Divisional Forest Officer Shri Vivek Singh, SDM Bandhavgarh Sushri Rita Dahria, Deputy Forest Divisional Officer Shri Kuldeep Tripathi and public representatives were present.
