State festival organized in Mahasamund district on 05 November

On the occasion of the foundation day of Chhattisgarh state, the Rajyotsav organized on 05 November at the district headquarters Mahasamund will be inaugurated at 04:00 pm in the Mini Stadium Mahasamund. The chief guest of the function will be Minister in charge of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection, Shri Dayaldas Baghel. On this occasion, the program will be held in the special hospitality of Mahasamund Lok Sabha MP Smt. Roopkumari Chaudhary, MLA Mahasamund Mr. Yogeshwar Raju Sinha, MLA Basna Mr. Sampat Agarwal, MLA Khallari Mr. Dwarkadhish Yadav, MLA Saraipali Mrs. Chaturinand, District Panchayat President Mrs. Usha Patel, Municipality President Mahasamund Mrs. Rashi Mahilang, District President Mr. Yatendra Sahu, Municipality President Saraipali Mr. Chandrakumar Patel, District Panchayat President Bagbahara Mrs. Smriti Hitesh Chandrakar, Municipality President Bagbahara Mrs. Heera Santram Baghel, District Panchayat President Saraipali Mrs. Kumari Bhaskar, Municipal Council President Tumgaon Mr. Rakesh Chandrakar, District Panchayat President Basna Mrs. Rukmani Subhashchandra Patel, Municipal Council President Basna Mr. Gajendra Sahu, District Panchayat President Pithora Mr. Satyabhama Nag and Municipal Council President Pithora Mr. Atmaram Yadav and in the dignified presence of distinguished guests and citizens.

After the arrival of the guests, the departmental stalls will be inspected. Chhattisgarhi cultural program will be presented from 05:00 pm. In which poet Padmashree Dr. Surendra Dubey will entertain the audience with his lovely poems. The rich folk culture of Chhattisgarh will be spread with the presentation of Mahtari Lok Kala Manch Kharora and there will be a colourful musical programme of Alankar Band Party.

In Rajyotsav, exhibition of development works will be organised by District Panchayat, Health Department, Agriculture, Horticulture, Fisheries, Veterinary, Water Resources, Tribal Development Department, Public Health Engineering, CREDA, Water Resources, District Transport, Police Department, District Commander, Silk, ITI, Legal Services Authority, Bank, Public Relations, Rural Mechanical Services Division, Education Department, Social Welfare Department, Forest Department, Labour Department, Women and Child Development Department and other departments. Colourful cultural programmes will be presented by local folk artists in the function.
