Addressing public grievances a top priority: CM
Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that addressing public grievances is the top priority for the present State Government. As part of this commitment, the Government has launched the “Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar” initiative, which began from the remote Dodra Kwar area of Shimla district recently. This program facilitates direct interaction between the government and the public, ensuring quicker resolution of problems while also incorporating public suggestions to support regional development.
The Chief Minister made these remarks at the Sera Rest House in the Nadaun Assembly segment of Hamirpur district today, where he spent approximately one and a half hours listening to people’s problems and instructed officers to address them on priority.
MLA Dehra Kamlesh Thakur, Chairman Kangra Cooperative Primary, Agriculture and Rural Development Bank Ram Chander Pathania, Congress Leader Surender Mankotia, Congress Nadaun Block President Captain Prithi Chand, Deputy Commissioner Amarjeet Singh, Superintendent of Police Hamirpur Bhagat Singh and other dignitaries were also present amongst others.
