6,41,425 Disabled Voters in the Maharashtra State

Mumbai : A total of 6,41,425 disabled voters have been registered for the 2024 Assembly General Elections. This includes 3,84,069 male voters, 2,57,317 female disabled voters, and 39 transgender disabled voters, as informed by the Chief Election Officer’s office.

Pune district has the highest number of disabled voters, with 88,937 registered disabled voters. This includes 48,626 males, 40,301 females, and 10 transgender disabled voters. Following Pune, Thane district has registered 38,149 disabled voters, which includes 21,573 male voters, 16,573 female voters, and 3 transgender disabled voters.

Gadchiroli district has the lowest registration of disabled voters, with 6,043 registered. This includes 3,710 males and 2,333 female disabled voters.

The total number of transgender disabled voters in the state is 39. The highest number of transgender disabled voters is in Aurangabad district, with a total of 12 transgender disabled voters. There are 10 in Pune district, 6 in Nanded district, 3 in Thane district, and 2 each in Palghar and Jalgaon districts. Additionally, 1 transgender disabled voter is registered in each of the districts of Mumbai Suburban, Latur, Solapur, and Sangli.
