Chhattisgarh Rajyotsav-2024: Vice President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar honored personalities and institutions with 36 decorations of Chhattisgarh

Vice President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar today honoured 37 personalities and 4 institutions who have made outstanding contributions in various fields with 36 decorations of Chhattisgarh at the State Decoration Ceremony of Chhattisgarh Rajyotsav. Governor Shri Ramen Deka presided over the ceremony. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai and Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh were present as special guests.   

On the third day of State Festival, a ceremony was organized in the capital Nava Raipur to present decorations in the name of great personalities of the state. At the State Decoration Ceremony, Vice President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar presented the Shaheed Veernarayan Singh Award for the upliftment of the tribal backward class by the Tribal Welfare Department to Shri Butlu Ram Mathra. Similarly, the Yeti Yatanlal Award in the field of non-violence and cow protection given by the General Administration Department was given to Manohar Gaushala Khairagarh, Gundadhur Award for excellent performance in the field of sports by the Sports and Youth Welfare Department was given to Ms. Chhoti Mehra, and Maharaja Praveerchand Bhanjdev Award for excellent performance in the field of sports (archery) was given to Shri Vikas Kumar. Similarly, the Women and Child Development Department presented the Minimata Award in the field of women’s upliftment to Satnami Mahila Samiti Kohka, District Durg, the Veerangna Rani Avantibai Lodhi Memorial Award for empowering bravery, courage and self-confidence in women was given to Mrs. Aditi Kashyap and Mata Bahadur Kalarin Award for fight against oppression of women and women’s upliftment was given to Kumari Chitrarekha Sinha, Guru Ghasidas Award in the field of social consciousness and Dalit upliftment by the Tribal Welfare Department was given to Mr. Rajendra Rangeela (Gilhare), Thakur Pyarelal Award in the field of cooperation by the Co-operative Department was given to Mr. Shashikant Dwivedi.

Pandit Ravishankar Shukla Award for remarkable work in social, economic and educational field by General Administration Department was given to All India Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram Jashpurnagar, District Jashpur, Pandit Sundarlal Sharma Award for outstanding work in the field of Hindi literature by Culture Department was given to Dr. Satyabhama Adil, Chakradhar Award in the field of music and art by Culture Department was given to Pandit Shri Sudhakar Rambhau Shevlikar by Vice President Shri Dhankhar. Dau Mandraji Award given by Culture Department in the field of folk art and crafts was given to Shri Pandiram Mandavi. Laxman Masturia Award for Chhattisgarhi folk song by Culture Department was given to Smt. Nirmala Thakur (Belchandan) and Khuman Saav Award for Chhattisgarhi folk music was given to Shri Dushyant Kumar Harmukh, Dr. Khubchand Baghel Award in the field of agriculture by Agriculture Department was jointly given to Shri Shivkumar Chandravanshi and Shri Khemraj Patel. Maharaja Agrasen Award for remarkable work in the field of social harmony by the General Administration Department to Shri Siyaram Agarwal, Danveer Bhamashah Award in the field of charity, harmony and exemplary assistance by the Social Welfare Department to Shri Subhash Chand Agarwal, Smt. Bilasabai Kenvtin Matsya Vikas Award for excellent work in the field of fish farming by the Fisheries Department to Shri Vinod Das were presented by the Vice President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar.  

Bhanwar Singh Porte Award given by Tribal Welfare Department in the field of service and upliftment of tribals was given to Chhattisgarh Tribal Welfare Institute, Anupam Nagar, Raipur. Maharaja Ramanuj Pratap Singhdev Award in the field of labor by the Labor Department was jointly given to Surendra Kumar Rathore, Shri Shobha Singh and Shri Lalit Kumar Nayak. Pandit Lakhan Lal Mishra Award in the field of crime investigation by Home (Police) Department was given to Shri Ramnaresh Yadav, Bisahudas Mahant Award in the field of weavers by Village Industries Department was jointly given to Shri Pannalal Devangan and Shri Bahori Lal Devangan by Vice President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar. Rajrajeshwari Karunamata Handloom Promotion Award in the field of weavers by Village Industries Department was jointly given to Shri Satyanarayan Devangan and Shri Arun Mehar.

Devdas Banjare Memorial Award in the field of performing folk art by the Culture Department was given to Shri Bhagat Guleri, Devdas Smriti Panthi Dance Award in the field of folk style Panthi dance performing art by the Culture Department was given to Shri Sadhe Lal Ratre, Kishore Sahu Award in the field of creative writing, direction, acting, screenplay, production in Hindi-Chhattisgarhi cinema by the Culture Department was given to Shri Prakash Awasthi, Kishore Sahu National Decoration given by the Culture Department for direction in Hindi-Chhattisgarhi cinema was given to Shri Satish Jain.

Dhanwantri Samman was awarded to Dr. Manohar Lal Laheja by the Health Department for his remarkable work in the field of Ayurveda medical education and research. Barrister Thakur Chhedilal Samman was jointly awarded to Shri Surendra Tiwari and Shri Prakash Chandra Pant by the Law and Legislative Department for his remarkable work in the field of law, Chhattisgarh Non-Resident Indian Award was given to Shri Anand Kumar Pandey by the Culture Department for his remarkable work in the field of social welfare, human resource development, art, literature or economic contribution outside the country, Lala Jagdalpuri Sahitya Award was given to Dr. PC Lal Yadav by the Vice President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar.

Chandulal Chandrakar Memorial Journalism Award in the field of Hindi Print Media Journalism was given by the Public Relations Department to Mr. Bholaram Sinha, Mr. Mohan Tiwari in the field of Electronic Media (Hindi), Madhukar Kher Memorial Journalism Award in the field of Print Media (English) to Mr. Mukesh S. Singh, Pandit Madhavrao Sapre National Creativity Award given in the field of creative writing and Hindi language was given to Mr. Atul Jain.
