Complete the construction works within the time limit with quality : Deputy CM Shri Shukla
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla has said that the objective of the government is not only to build health infrastructure, but also to ensure that these infrastructures become helpful in providing better health services to the public. He directed that along with the construction works, arrangements should also be made for HR and necessary medical equipment so that the general public can get the benefit of these facilities soon. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla conducted a comprehensive review of various health infrastructure development projects and construction works of medical colleges of the state at the Mantralaya. He directed to complete all the construction works within the stipulated time limit and with the highest quality standards, so that unnecessary increase in cost can be checked and the general public can get the benefit of these facilities as soon as possible.
Complete the construction work of medical colleges on priority
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla said that expansion of health facilities is an important step towards the goals of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s “Atmanirbhar Bharat” and “Right to Health”. He asked all the concerned departments to ensure the availability of human resources and necessary medical equipment along with creating the infrastructure of health services. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla reviewed the progress of 8 new medical colleges under construction and directed the concerned officials to complete their work as soon as possible, so that seats for students can be increased and health services can be improved. He also said that with the completion of construction work on time, treatment facilities can be provided to more and more patients, which is the priority of the state government. With the construction of these medical colleges, people of rural and remote areas of the state will get state-of-the-art medical facilities.
Start operation of Rajgarh and Mauganj district hospitals in new buildings soon
The Deputy Chief Minister directed the officials to make necessary preparations to start operation in the new buildings of Rajgarh and Mauganj district hospitals as soon as possible. He said that advanced facilities of district hospitals are extremely important for the public. With the early operation of these hospitals, the reach of health facilities will increase and local residents will not need to go elsewhere for quality treatment.
650-bed state-of-art medical college to be developed in Satna
The Deputy Chief Minister also reviewed the status of construction of 650-bed medical college hospital in Satna and directed to develop it as a “state-of-the-art” health care facility. He said that the aim of this project is not only to provide high quality medical services in the region but also to provide advanced medical services to patients from the surrounding districts. This hospital will include state-of-the-art operation theatres, emergency facilities and specialist departments, which will be helpful in providing the best treatment to the patients.
Complete the strengthening work of Shyamshah Medical College, Rewa within the time limit
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla reviewed the ongoing strengthening and upgradation works at Shyamshah Medical College, Rewa at a cost of Rs 321 crore. He reviewed the Cancer Hospital (200 beds), MCH Block, Nursing College, Hostel, OPD Block, Multi-Level Parking and other important infrastructural development works and directed the officials to complete the work soon so that patients and medical students can get its benefit.
Make planned efforts to expand the capacity of Bundelkhand Medical College, Sagar
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla reviewed the plan to expand the capacity of Bundelkhand Medical College Sagar to 1200 beds by merging it with the district hospital. He said that this expansion will enhance the capacity of the medical college and the number of patients in the hospital can be managed effectively. Along with this, he also inquired about the progress of other projects like expansion of UG and PG seats, new 9 OT blocks, cancer oncology wing, cancer hospital and hostel construction and directed to complete the works in a timely manner.
Instructions to expedite extension works in Superspeciality Hospital, Rewa
The Deputy Chief Minister expressed dissatisfaction over the slow progress of extension works going on under re-densification at Superspeciality Hospital, Rewa and directed the officials to expedite the work. He said that this project is very important from the point of view of providing special medical services to the people of the state and the concerned departments should work promptly to ensure its early completion.
The Deputy Chief Minister reviewed the District Hospital Maihar, Sanjeevani Clinic and other important works and gave necessary instructions. He reviewed the updated status of the departmental appointment process. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla also gave instructions to complete the formalities to complete the recruitment process on time. Health Commissioner Shri Tarun Rathi, Additional Commissioner Medical Education and MD MPHSCL Dr. Pankaj Jain, Director Medical Education Dr. Arun Srivastava, representatives of PIU, MP BDC, Police Housing Corporation, Bridge and Roof and senior departmental officers were present in the meeting.
