Online Registration of Light Commercial Vehicles to be Done at Dealer Level
Mumbai : Starting November 28, the facility for faceless online registration of light commercial vehicles at the level of vehicle dealers will be made available. This service will be operational across all transport offices in the state and will be accessible through all authorized vehicle dealers.
This service is entirely faceless, requiring the vehicle dealer to submit the vehicle owner’s registration application on the website www.parivahan.gov.in. Registration can be completed by paying the vehicle registration fee and road tax through this platform.
Similar to the current registration process for private vehicles, this facility will now enable the registration of light commercial vehicles directly at the dealer level. As a result, there will no longer be a need to take light commercial vehicles to transport offices for registration, simplifying the process. This initiative will save both time and fuel for vehicle owners, making the process hassle-free.
If vehicle dealers face any technical difficulties, they can contact the department via email at dytccomp.tpt-mh@gov.in.
Transport Commissioner Vivek Bhimanwar has urged all citizens and vehicle dealers to take note of this development, act accordingly, and avail themselves of the service.
