Mahakumbh 2025: State-of-the-art security measures in place under CM Yogi’s direction
Prayagraj : In sequence of initiatives to ensure safety and seamless management at Mahakumbh 2025, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed extensive security arrangements. For the first time in the history of the event, 20 high-tech drones have been deployed to monitor activities round the clock.
These advanced drones provide 24/7 surveillance, capturing every detail of the massive gathering. The drones are programmed to focus on even the smallest movements, ensuring a highly secure environment.
Every development work, from the Sangam to the Maha Kumbh, is being closely monitored. Whether it’s the airport, railway stations, bus stations, ghats, roads, temples, or bridges, all areas are under strict supervision. Following the directives of the Yogi government, state-of-the-art security arrangements have been put in place to ensure that devotees from India and abroad face no inconvenience.
The highlight of these arrangements is the use of special drones, which provide real-time updates on every detail of all 25 sectors of the Mahakumbh with just a single click.
Special security measures are being implemented to ensure the safety and convenience of devotees attending the Mahakumbh. CM Yogi has issued clear instructions to provide a seamless experience for pilgrims traveling to Prayagraj from across India and abroad. In line with this directive, the Mela Authority and administrative teams are working tirelessly on preparations.
To enhance security, three drone-based projects have already been initiated, ensuring vigilant monitoring of every corner of the Mahakumbh. The number of these specialized drones may be increased if needed, further strengthening the security framework.
Making the Mahakumbh a truly exceptional experience is a top priority for CM Yogi. Advanced drones are being deployed to oversee all construction activities carried out by various departments, including Smart City, Municipal Corporation, Police, Healthcare, and Transportation.
Currently, 20 state-of-the-art drones are operational, keeping a close watch on land, water, and air to ensure safety. These remotely controlled drones are operated by specially trained teams, providing a detailed view of all activities. Equipped with unlimited memory, these drones are storing every second of data, ensuring nothing goes unnoticed and creating a robust security network for the event.
