Oath-Taking Ceremony of Newly Elected Rajasthan Assembly Members
Jaipur : Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Shri Vasudev Devnani administered the oath of office to seven newly elected legislators from the Assembly by-elections in his chamber on Tuesday. All the legislators took the oath in Hindi. On this occasion, Speaker Shri Devnani congratulated and extended his best wishes to the newly elected members, urging them to uphold the traditions, dignity, and decorum of the Assembly.
The newly sworn-in members included Smt. Shanta Amritlal Meena (Salumbar), Shri Sukhwant Singh (Ramgarh), Shri Rajendra Bhambu (Jhunjhunu), Shri Anil Kumar Katara (Chaurasi), Shri Reventaram Danga (Khinwsar), Shri Rajendra Gurjar (Deoli-Uniara), and Shri Deendayal (Dausa).
The ceremony was attended by Shri Jogeshwar Garg, Chief Whip of the Government in the Assembly; Shri Rafiq Khan, Chief Whip of the Opposition; Shri Bharat Bhushan Sharma, Principal Secretary of the Assembly; Shri K.K. Sharma, Special Assistant; and other Assembly officials.
