Industrialists and Investors Participate in Madhya Pradesh’s Development Journey: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that the state government is committed to doubling the state budget within the next five years. Along with promoting entrepreneurs, every effort will be made to expand activities in sectors like IT, tourism, mining, and energy through our systems. Farmers are being encouraged to install solar pumps to make them self-reliant in electricity. There are 52 private universities operating in the state. Through coordinated efforts across all sectors, our goal is to make Madhya Pradesh the best state in the country, attracting investors and industrial groups to expand their activities, thus accelerating the state’s development.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav mentioned that a fully equipped office of the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC) will be set up in Narmadapuram to promote industrial activities and investment. The Regional Industrial Conclave is an attempt to change the industrial culture in the state, and it reflects the state government’s commitment to industrial development. The aim is balanced and equitable development of the state, and such conclaves are being organized at the divisional level to involve the public in the process. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the 6th Regional Industrial Conclave with the theme “New Horizons, New Possibilities” by lighting the ceremonial lamp.
82 Industrial Units’ Groundbreaking and Inaugurations in the State
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav reported that investment proposals totaling Rs. 31,800 crore have been received at the Narmadapuram Industrial Conclave. He also transferred financial assistance worth Rs. 367 crore for over 1,200 MSMEs under the MSME Promotion Scheme via a single click. Additionally, he virtually performed the groundbreaking and inauguration of 82 units worth Rs. 2,585 crore, which will create nearly 5,800 employment opportunities. The Chief Minister issued intent letters for 98 units covering 163 acres of land, expected to create 4,000 job opportunities with an investment of Rs. 911 crore. Dr. Yadav also virtually inaugurated infrastructure development works in the industrial area of Maan (Budhni).
Regional Conclave Will Transform the Lives of Youth, Farmers, and Women
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav emphasized that the Regional Industrial Conclave is an important step in improving the lives of the state’s youth, farmers, and women. At the conclave, several industrial units were launched, and financial assistance was transferred to MSMEs. This event linked the entire state, with entrepreneurs receiving financial aid and industry groups also being incentivized. This is a clear indication of the state government’s commitment to promoting industrial activities.
Invitation to Prime Minister Shri Modi for the Groundbreaking of the Ken-Betwa Project
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the groundbreaking ceremony of the Ken-Betwa project. He lauded the leadership of PM Modi, stating that under his guidance, India has become the fifth-largest economy in the world. Madhya Pradesh is also progressing steadily, with the state’s agricultural growth rate increasing by 25% in the last 20 years. Dr. Yadav also shared that the government has agreed to a joint project with Rajasthan under the Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal (PKC) scheme worth Rs. 70,000 crore, which will benefit several districts by improving irrigation and drinking water supply. The Ken-Betwa project is expected to transform the lives of people in the Bundelkhand region.

MSME Minister Shri Chaitanya Kashyap said that after taking office, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav started the series of Regional Industrial Conclaves, beginning from Ujjain and culminating in Narmadapuram. He mentioned that subsidies and approvals are being granted to MSMEs within 30 days.

The state has rich reserves of minerals such as coal, limestone, bauxite, and graphite, which provide major opportunities for industries. For example, Madhya Pradesh has coal reserves of 30,916 million tons and limestone reserves of 1,692.4 million tons. The availability of minerals in various regions of the state makes it even more attractive for investors. Areas like Satna, Rewa, and Singrauli are abundant in limestone and coal. Balaghat is rich in copper and manganese, while Chhatarpur and Panna are famous for diamonds and rock phosphate.
