Jewar farmers express joy, declaring, “The Yogi government should always remain in power”

Lucknow : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, committed to transforming Uttar Pradesh into a model state of progress, has brought immense happiness to the lives of Jewar’s farmers. During an open dialogue at his residence on Friday, he announced a significant increase in compensation for the third phase of land acquisition for Jewar Airport, raising it from ₹3,100 per square meter to ₹4,300 per square meter, with additional interest payable as per rules. Furthermore, he assured proper arrangements for the rehabilitation, employment, and welfare of every farmer family impacted by the acquisition.

The delegation of farmers from Noida expressed optimism and joy, believing this decision would not only position Jewar Airport as a national role model for development but also secure the future of their children and the region.

Once overshadowed by neglect, Jewar is now poised to emerge as a major hub, not just in Uttar Pradesh but across the country and the world, contributing significantly to India’s progress.

During the dialogue, CM Yogi emphasized that Jewar would become one of the most developed regions in the nation within the next decade. Highlighting the operational timeline of Noida International Airport, he announced that it would be inaugurated by PM Modi in April 2025.

The airport, envisioned as the largest in the country, will feature five terminals and a world-class Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) hub. By 2040, the airport is expected to handle 70 million passengers annually, supported by seamless connectivity through the Eastern Peripheral Road, Yamuna Expressway, Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, and Delhi-Varanasi High-Speed Rail.

Farmers hailed these transformative announcements with slogans of “Yogi-Yogi” and “Jai Shri Ram,” expressing heartfelt wishes for the Yogi government to remain in power and ensure the continuous progress of Uttar Pradesh.

Farmers, deeply impressed by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s decisive leadership, remarked that he has swiftly resolved issues in Jewar and Noida that had persisted for years. His decisions, they said, reflect his unwavering moral strength and ability to address even the most complex challenges with remarkable efficiency. With a clear vision and mission, CM Yogi has ensured that the future of the state remains secure under his leadership.

The farmers acknowledged that, in just two years, the acquisition of 1,334 hectares (approximately 3,300 acres) of land was completed seamlessly, without any disputes. They attributed this success to CM Yogi’s steadfast commitment to safeguarding farmers’ interests while driving development. The farmers expressed their happiness and satisfaction with the prompt actions taken on critical issues such as land acquisition, resettlement, employment, and regional development, commending the Chief Minister’s balanced and inclusive approach.
