Free Opportunity for Pre-Training for Officer Positions in the Indian Armed Forces
Mumbai : The Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force provide pre-training for candidates who are eligible to join as officers through the Combined Defence Services (CDS) examination. The Maharashtra Government is organizing the CDS (CDS) training program No. 64 for youth in Maharashtra at Nashik from January 20, 2025, to April 4, 2025. The training will be provided free of cost, including accommodation and meals, as per the information given by the District Sainik Welfare Office.
Interested candidates from Mumbai city district must attend the interview for officer position opportunities in the armed forces at the District Sainik Welfare Office, Mumbai city, on January 6, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The candidate must bring the printout of the CDS-64 course admission card along with the related annexures from the Department of Sainik Welfare, Pune (DSW) website (or the print version issued by the respective District Sainik Welfare Office) along with complete information.
To gain entry into the CDS course, the following eligibility requirements must be met, and the eligibility certificate should be brought along when attending the training session:
- The candidate must be a graduate from any stream.
- The candidate must have applied online for the CDS examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), New Delhi.
