Complete Rajasthan Mandapam on Time, Equipped with World-Class Facilities – Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma

Jaipur : Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma stated that Rajasthan Mandapam will become a major attraction for cultural and business events, promoting the state’s art, culture, and tourism. He directed officials to equip the Mandapam, which is to be built in Jaipur, with world-class facilities, blending modern technology with traditional Rajasthani architecture. He also instructed that the construction of the Mandapam be completed on time.

On Monday, Shri Sharma was addressing a meeting at the Chief Minister’s residence regarding preparations for the construction of Rajasthan Mandapam. He mentioned that the Mandapam in Jaipur would be constructed on the lines of Bharat Mandapam. He instructed officials to ensure that the exhibition hall, open hall, and auditorium in the Mandapam are designed with sufficient seating capacity to accommodate the maximum number of participants in events held there.

Unity Mall to Feature All Essential Facilities

The Chief Minister announced that under the “Make in India” and “One Nation, One Product” initiatives, a Unity Mall would also be constructed within the Mandapam to promote indigenous products. He instructed officials to develop all necessary facilities within this mall. He emphasized the need to build resources in the Mandapam, keeping future requirements in mind. Shri Sharma reviewed the master plan, including the Unity Mall, parking, shops, and auditorium to be developed within the Mandapam.

The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister’s Office Shri Shikhar Agarwal, Principal Secretary (Industries) Shri Ajitabh Sharma, RIICO Managing Director Shri Indrajit Singh, NBCC Managing Director Shri K.P. Mahadev Swami, and other officials.
