District-Level Workshop Organized Under Good Governance Week

Jaipur : Under the Good Governance Week, a district-level workshop was organized on Monday in the Collectorate Hall. The workshop was addressed by retired IAS officer Shri Rajeshwar Singh, former IFS officer Shri Deepnarayan Pandey, and academician Professor Vidya Jain.

The workshop, chaired by District Collector Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni, provided detailed information on innovations in good governance initiated by the Jaipur district administration, including the “Rasta Kholo Abhiyan,” “Nasha Mukt Jaipur Abhiyan,” “Saksham Jaipur Abhiyan,” and “Gyan Dhara Abhiyan.”

During the workshop, the Vision Document-2047 for Jaipur district, Jaipur Rural, and Dudu prepared by district-level offices of all departments under Good Governance Week was unveiled. A video film titled “Efforts of Jaipur District Administration in the Direction of Good Governance,” prepared by the District Information and Public Relations Office, was also screened.

While addressing the workshop, the speakers emphasized the need to spread awareness and benefits of government welfare schemes to the most marginalized sections of society through good governance.

District Collector CEO Mrs. Pratibha Verma shared that during the Good Governance Week, district-level public hearings were conducted. Information was also provided about campaigns like the “Administration Towards Villages” initiative, Good Governance Week camps, “Run for Developed Rajasthan” program, and more. Awareness programs for youth on mental health, skill development, and entrepreneurship were also discussed.

The workshop was attended by Additional District Collector (II) Shri Ashish Kumar, Additional District Collector (III) Mrs. Kuntal Vishnoi, Additional District Collector (IV) Mrs. Suman Panwar, Additional District Collector (East) Shri Devendra Kumar Jain, Additional CEO of District Council Shri Sher Singh Luhadia, and other district-level officials from various departments, along with students from schools and colleges.
