Ministers Uday Samant, Sanjay Shirsat, and Meghna Bordikar Visit Late Santosh Deshmukh’s Family to Offer Condolences
Every Accused in Sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh’s Murder Will Be Punished; Government Assures Support for Deshmukh Family’s Future
Beed : The sarpanch of Massajog village, Santosh Deshmukh, was brutally murdered, and the government is determined not to spare any of the accused involved in this heinous act. To convey this assurance and to affirm the government’s unwavering support to Deshmukh’s family, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde sent a message through the state’s Industries Minister, Uday Samant, who visited the grieving family today.
Speaking on the occasion, Industries Minister Uday Samant stated, “The government stands firmly with you during this difficult time. Our primary responsibility is to ensure justice for you.”
Along with the Industries Minister, the state’s Social Justice Minister Sanjay Shirsat and Minister of State Meghna Sakore-Bordikar also visited the Deshmukh family to offer their condolences. During their visit, they interacted with the villagers, listened to their concerns, and assured swift action.
Social Justice Minister Sanjay Shirsat, while addressing the villagers, assured them that the main accused and the masterminds behind this case would be arrested and brought to justice within a week. Earlier in the day, Mr. Shirsat also met with Superintendent of Police Navneet Kawat in Beed to gather updates on the ongoing investigation.
After discussing the case with the Deshmukh family, Minister Uday Samant spoke to the media, stating, “An SIT (Special Investigation Team) has been formed, and judicial inquiry is underway. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde have instructed that the culprits be punished at the earliest, and the Deshmukh family receives justice.”
He further added, “The late Sarpanch Deshmukh, who served public life for 15 years without even building a modest house for himself, was deeply committed to the development of his village. The government will ensure that the same spirit of development continues in the village moving forward.”
Minister Samant also acknowledged the demands raised by the state’s Sarpanch Association and assured that the government has taken note of their memorandum. He announced that the Shiv Sena would extend financial assistance to the Deshmukh family and stated, “We will take responsibility for the education of Santosh Deshmukh’s children.”
Minister of State Meghna Bordikar, during her visit, remarked, “This incident is extremely deplorable. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has ordered a thorough investigation, and the government is committed to ensuring justice for the Deshmukh family in the days to come.”
