Actress Rupali Ganguly, started her acting career as a child, making her debut at age seven in her father’s film Saaheb (1985) also who is well known for her roles in shows like Anupamaa and Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, has ventured out of acting. On Wednesday, the actress joined the BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) at the party headquarters in Delhi, ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Party leaders Vinod Tawde and Anil Baluni were also present at the event. After joining the political party, the actress, along with astrologer Ameya Joshi, met party president JP Nadda, in Delhi.
Rupali while addressed the media post joining the political party, actress said, “When I see this ‘Mahayagya’ of development, I feel that I should also take part in this.” She added, “I need your blessings and support so that whatever I do, I do it right and good.”
In March this year, Rupali met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Sharing the news on her Instagram handle, she wrote, “Last Week was special for reasons beyond words and 8th March 2024 will go down as one of the most memorable and cherished days of my life! A day I will not stop reliving in my mind and feel euphoric about.” She added, “It was the day my dream came true… that of meeting our Honourable PM Shri Narendra Modiji.”
