Maintain Quality While Accelerating Solar Energy Projects in the State – Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis
Board Meeting of the Holding Company of Maharashtra State Electricity Board Chaired by Chief Minister
Mumbai : To advance Maharashtra in agriculture, power generation, industry, and the service sector, the state is focusing on solar energy. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has directed that while expediting the work on solar energy projects, quality must be maintained.
The board meeting of the holding company of the Maharashtra State Electricity Board was held today at the Sahyadri State Guest House under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
The Chief Minister stated that Maharashtra must become self-reliant in the energy sector. To achieve this, all power-related companies must be brought into good condition. In the future, consideration will need to be given to listing these companies to increase public participation. He also directed that district and division-level mechanisms should be strengthened to resolve complaints related to energy sector companies within a stipulated timeframe.
The meeting was attended by Meghana Bordikar, Minister of State for Energy and Vice-Chairperson of the Board, Chief Minister’s Secretary Shrikar Pardeshi, the company’s Managing Director Abha Shukla, Directors Lokesh Chandra, Radhakrishnan B., Anudeep Dighe, Independent Directors Vishwas Pathak and Neeta Kelkar, and other senior officials.
