Neetu Chanwar lives with her two children in Thanganpara of Ambikapur. Neetu, who once lived in difficult circumstances, is now filled with happiness. Neetu started a dairy business by taking a loan from the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana and became financially empowered. Recalling the past years, Neetu narrates her ordeal and says, “The times of crisis that I have seen should not come in anyone’s life.” She told that her husband died three years ago. Her husband used to do tailoring, which was his livelihood. The upbringing of two children, their education and education, all the expenses were being met from this work. Her husband’s death was like a mountain of sorrow in our life. Firstly, the children lost their father and on top of that, the only earning person of the family left. In such a situation, the biggest challenge in front of me was the upbringing of the children and their future, the worry about their future started bothering me. Then I thought of doing some work myself, but I was not able to understand where and how to start. Because money was needed for any business, the savings that I had were also exhausted. In such a situation, I came to know about the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana. I applied and got a loan of 25 thousand. After getting the loan, I bought a cow and started a dairy business.
Today Neetu has 8 cows, earns lakhs by selling milk-
After starting the dairy business, Neetu started earning well by selling milk. As the income increased, Neetu bought more cows. Today she has a total of 08 cows, from which Neetu sells 60 liters of milk daily. Neetu earns about 1 lakh rupees in a month. Even after taking care of the cow, fodder etc., a good amount is saved.
