Everyone Should Benefit from the Public Welfare Schemes of the Government: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has emphasized that all MLAs should work with dedication towards the development of their respective constituencies. He stated that public issues must be resolved promptly, and it is our collective responsibility to ensure this. To facilitate systematic development, every MLA should prepare a five-year master plan for their constituency.

The Chief Minister was addressing local public representatives and officials virtually during a review meeting for the Gwalior and Chambal divisions from Samatva Bhavan (Chief Minister’s Residence).

Minister for Social Justice and Disabled Welfare, Horticulture and Food Processing Shri Narayan Singh Kushwaha, Minister for New and Renewable Energy Shri Rakesh Shukla, local MLA Sushri Sarla Rawat; Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister, Dr. Rajesh Rajoura, Gwalior Division In-charge Additional Chief Secretary Shri Ashok Barnwal; Chambal Division In-charge Additional Chief Secretary Shri Manu Srivastava; Additional Chief Secretary for Higher Education Shri Anupam Rajan; Principal Secretary Shri Sanjay Shukla; Principal Secretary Smt. Deepali Rastogi; Principal Secretary Shri Vivek Porwal, along with other officials and public representatives were present in meeting.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav reiterated the government’s unwavering commitment to prioritizing developmental works and providing better services to the public. He emphasized that any form of negligence in this regard would not be tolerated. During a detailed review of ongoing and pending developmental projects in both divisions, he directed that construction work must be completed within the stipulated timeline to ensure timely delivery of benefits to the general public.

Take the Jankalyan Campaign to Every Citizen

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that a Public Welfare Campaign is being conducted in the state from December 11 to January 26, 2025. Embracing the spirit of ‘Your Government at Your Doorstep’, the government has launched this initiative to reach every citizen.

He instructed all MLAs and officials to ensure that the benefits of the government’s public welfare schemes reach the intended beneficiaries. To achieve this, MLAs and officials must personally visit households and monitor the progress of the campaign.

The Chief Minister also directed officials to alert their departmental field teams and ensure that no eligible person is deprived of government services, facilities, schemes, or development programs.

Ensure Immediate Payment of Pending Dues to the Workers of JC Mills in Gwalior

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that he has received information about the pending payments of workers from JC Mills in Gwalior. He directed the Gwalior Collector and the concerned revenue officers to expedite the necessary actions and ensure that the workers receive their pending payments at the earliest.

The Chief Minister emphasized that no worker of JC Mills should be deprived of their rightful dues or claims.

All Collectors Must Exercise Caution; Negligence will not be tolerated

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav took cognizance of the tragic borewell accident in Raghogarh, Guna district, and sought information from the Guna Collector. He expressed deep sorrow over the death of the child due to falling into the borewell. He instructed all collectors to ensure that such accidents do not recur and emphasized that the government will not tolerate any negligence in this matter.

Dr. Yadav also directed the collectors to close open borewells in private properties. He urged them to keep their field teams alert and ensure that no borewells are left open. Additionally, he stressed the need to raise public awareness in society about the dangers of open borewells.

Ensure Proper Management of Cow Shelters

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has directed that adequate supply of fodder for cattle should be ensured. He instructed municipal corporations and municipalities to properly manage small cow shelters within their respective jurisdictional areas. For larger cow shelters, the state government will arrange the management.

In-Charge Additional Chief Secretary to Review on January 8 in Gwalior

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav informed that, based on the suggestions presented by the public representatives of Gwalior division, the in-charge Additional Chief Secretary for Gwalior division, Shri Ashok Varnwal, will hold a meeting in Gwalior on January 8, 2025. He urged all public representatives to submit their demands in writing. The government will consider all the demands and make appropriate decisions.

Dr. Yadav also announced that from now on, divisional officers from the Finance Department will attend division-level meetings, allowing them to present their perspectives and suggestions on financial matters.
