Chief Minister’s Heartfelt Message to the People of Rajasthan: 2024 Marked by Achievements, 2025 to Propel Us Towards a Developed Rajasthan
Jaipur : On the eve of New Year 2025, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma shared a heartfelt message through a letter addressed to the people of Rajasthan. In his message, the Chief Minister stated that 2024 was a year of pride and accomplishments for both India and Rajasthan. Under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India made a strong presence on the global stage. The year also witnessed the fulfillment of a 500-year-long aspiration with the construction of the grand Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya.
2024: A Year of Milestones for Rajasthan
CM Sharma highlighted 2024 as a year of remarkable achievements for Rajasthan. The long-pending ERCP (Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project) Link Project was approved this year, alongside the initiation of the Dewas project and the Yamuna Water Agreement, paving the way for state development and permanent solutions to water crises. The government also eradicated the menace of recruitment paper leaks and organized fair and transparent examinations. For the first time, a two-year recruitment calendar was issued, and job opportunities were provided to the youth under the Chief Minister’s Employment Festival.
The Chief Minister further mentioned the success of the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit, which resulted in record-breaking MoUs worth ₹35 lakh crores, significantly boosting the state’s industrial growth. Rajasthan also became a leader in solar and renewable energy, with the state government signing MoUs worth ₹2.24 lakh crores to ensure daytime electricity for farmers by 2027. Additionally, the decision to build nine greenfield expressways will chart a new course for state development, laying the foundation for a developed Rajasthan by 2047.
Welfare Decisions for Various Sections
CM Sharma emphasized the welfare-oriented decisions made by the government, including increasing farmers’ honorarium, assisting 4.5 lakh women under the Matruvandana Scheme, setting up 1,000 new Anganwadi centers, launching the Lado Incentive Scheme for girls’ education, and providing gas cylinders at ₹450. In healthcare, initiatives like the Chief Minister Ayushman Health Scheme, Maa Voucher Scheme, and the establishment of Ramashray Wards set new benchmarks. The government also issued land leases to 35,000 needy families, approved the construction of 1.8 lakh houses, and provided drinking water connections to 10 lakh households, transforming lives across the state.
Achievements in Sports
Rajasthan also shone on the global sports stage, with eight athletes representing the state at the Paris Paralympics and winning three medals.
The Chief Minister expressed confidence that in 2025, the people of Rajasthan would move forward with renewed energy, resolve, and enthusiasm towards a developed state, making the New Year another chapter of accomplishments for Rajasthan.
