Aadhaar authentication required for registration for HPSC exams
Chandigarh : The Haryana Government has notified that the use of Aadhaar for authentication of candidates appearing in various examinations for Group A and B posts conducted by the Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) shall be applied at the time of registration using Yes/No or/and e-KYC authenticate facility on a voluntary basis. A notification in this regard was issued by Haryana Chief Secretary Dr. Vivek Joshi.
The notification has been issued under Rule 5 of the Aadhaar Authentication for Good Governance (Social Welfare, Innovation, Knowledge) Rules, 2020 read with sub-clause (ii) of clause (b) of subsection (4) of Section 4 of the Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act, 2016 (Central Act 18 of 2016).
