Measures Should be Taken to Ensure Smooth Supply of Petrol-Based Products Including LPG – Food and Civil Supplies Minister Chhagan Bhujbal

Mumbai : Transporters, including LPG, petrol, and diesel transporters, have joined the strike in the state. In light of this, measures should be taken to ensure the smooth supply of cooking gas, petrol, and diesel in the state. Additionally, the supply of petrol, diesel, and LPG should not be disrupted under any circumstances, instructed Food and Civil Supplies Minister Chhagan Bhujbal to all District Collectors, Police Commissioners, and Police Superintendents.

Instructions have been issued through the Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Protection Department regarding this matter. Accordingly, LPG, petrol, and diesel are included in essential commodities. All District Collectors, Police Commissioners, and Police Superintendents should take necessary actions and measures under the Essential Commodities Act, 1955, to ensure the uninterrupted transportation and supply of essential goods.
