Ramanujganj Nagar Panchayat becomes Municipality

Agriculture Minister Shri Ramvichar Netam participated in various programs during his visit to Balrampur-Ramanujganj district today. He inaugurated the office upgraded from Nagar Panchayat Ramanujganj to Nagar Palika under Ramchandrapur development block of the district by cutting the ribbon. Minister Shri Netam congratulated and wished the people of the area for the new Nagar Palika.

Minister Shri Netam said that Ramanujganj was known as Nagar Panchayat. But as a result of the efforts of local public representatives, it has been made a municipal area after a long time. He thanked the Chief Minister for making Ramanujganj a municipality. Minister Shri Netam said that by becoming a municipality, the local people will get better administrative facilities and services, which will speed up development. He said that it is also the responsibility of public representatives and citizens to awaken public awareness and participation in the society and help the Municipality Ramanujganj to work better.

On this occasion, local public representatives, including Sub-Divisional Revenue Officer Mr. Devendra Pradhan, District CEO Mr. Manoj Pankra and Municipality CMO and a large number of dignitaries were present.
